That's if he accepts. He's still really peed off too RE Pinnacle.

I don't think you'll find he's peed off at all sir. Sometimes in business things don't quite work out as planned. Thats the sad fact of life, but when you put a deal together, you do so with your eyes wide open knowing the pitfalls/risks etc. Both Matt and I are very disappointed that our people did not end up buying it, but disappointment and being peed off are very different things. Trust me, I know both feelings!

And if you watch SS he certainly acts as an ambassador to the club on that whenever we win or score ( so you have to pay close attention as that isn't very often I admit)

Continuing on Sky would be fine as it would not affect his abililty to play some ambassadorial role. Clearly not a FT job else MLT would not even consider it !

In other words most of us only remember Saints v Sheff Utd in 2008 !

:( Was hoping LP wold be ambassador

MLT can be DoF

Matt's got bigger tits though.

I'd have no one as DoF. Pointless possition and just a fancy job title for, "man who p*sses off manager by interfering with transfer policy until he eventually just leaves."

Surprised you can show your face round here when your bids delaying almost put the very existence of the club in doubt.

Yes and thanks largely to you so were we for weeks not to mention worried we might have no club. I cannot speak for anyone else but as far as I'm concerned Mr Lynam I'd rather you stayed away from this forum.

Yes we're gutted that your illustrious team (or was it just one investor, forgive me I forget) was unable to complete the purchase as a result of which we've had to make do with a common-or-garden multi-billionaire who doesn't use fan forums to project his fantasies ..

Do we know how ITK MLT was now about the Pinnacle farce? Do we suspect he was sweet talked by Lynam or that he knew the truth about the financial backing or lack of?

Have we brushed our anti- Pinnacle feelings under the carpet just because Lynam comes on here now and again to sweet talk us?

Sorry If I have missed it posted before Tony but will you be able to tell us what all that stuff with the Football League was about?

Was it just a smoke screen to hide the fact the backer had pulled out and/or delay the takeover until another backer could be found.

Or was it that the backer was only interested if we didn't have -10 so we could be promoted in the first season?

Or was it something else

?

Just a thought...

What do the ambassadors do? and do we really need one?

Or is this just a nice thing to do for MLT

As far as I can work out they go from hospitality box to hospitality box and have a chat and a bit of lunch in each one. Matty's definitely the man for the job. :D
