ponto1963 Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 So who is actually cup tied for Sunday? Can't seem to find the details? Also do we know who is confirmed injured yet? Any thoughts as to what the starting line-up may be? Sorry if this has already been covered but can't see an obvious thread.
krissyboy31 Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 Saints will be without four of their key players with Jason Puncheon, Jon Otsemebor, Dan Seaborne and Lee Barnard all cup-tied for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

Think otsemebor is injured, with Morgan, lallana and Wayne possibly out.

VectisSaint Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 So who is actually cup tied for Sunday? Can't seem to find the details? Saeborne, Barnard, Otsemobor & Puncheon Also do we know who is confirmed injured yet? Thomas, thought there is even some doubt about that, Murty and James is not fully fit. I think Antonio is injured as well. Hopefully Lallana's knock/groin strain is all better now. Any thoughts as to what the starting line-up may be? Davis, Harding, Jaidi, Fonte, Mills, Lallana, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Holmes, Lambert, Waigo. Subs Bart, Connolly, Gillett, Wotton, Perry (can't remember if 5 or 7 subs allowed) if 7 add Oxlade-Chamberlain and Pulis (LOL) Sorry if this has already been covered but can't see an obvious thread. sfc4prem Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 We'll really miss Puncheon... He was awful 1st half against Hartlepool, didn't improve vastly in the 2nd either. It's more of a shame we'll be without Spiderman and Raddy Jaddy...

B Rabbit Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 (edited) F*cking hope Morgan is back !! we will miss him more than puncheon if that useless tosser Wotton has to run the midfield instead. Puncheon...brilliant as he is...we do have decent wide players as back up.... waigo, antonio, holmes.... Edited 25 March, 2010 by B Rabbit
Window Cleaner Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 Both will be fit IMO. I hope so,not a great Perry or Wotton fan myself. I'd even go as far as saying that without Morgan we will struggle. Carlisle are a proficient side and will close Lambert right out of it, especially without Barnard to watch over as well. If we start hoofing we'll be up the creek.

Window Cleaner Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 Wotton is good on fifa It's a video game, I can kill 2 dinosaurs and 3 ghoulies with one shot of my exploding bolt cross bow on Tomb Raider, completely irrelevant.
stevegrant Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 who is cup tied for them? is Jason Price???? Yep, both Price and their other loan striker Darryl Duffy are cup-tied. Scott Dobie will be up front on his own, I reckon.
bungle Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 I went to watch Bath City in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup, so I was cup-tied for Saints for that one. Luckily I am eligible to watch this final.

Matthew Le God Posted 25 March, 2010 Share Posted 25 March, 2010 Papa drifts in to the centre too much.. What are you basing that on? For example it was a Pardew tactic on Tuesday to play Papa behind Lambert and Barnard. When that didn't work Papa went out wide and stayed wide. It isn't Papa that goes inside it is the tactics Pardew tells him.
