Derby have had to cut majorily and this is continuing this summer. Quite frankly they can;t afford him and have Kris Commons so is probably a regualar bench warmer. He is better than Lloyd James. Even looked good in the Prem, although he was often on the bench and eventually dropped down a division, so perhaps he is inconsistent or something, or there are some other problems there. We are building a team to challenge in the CCC as well, remember. look above, Derby are having to cut their cloth very finely atm and they also have Kris Commons ahead of him. Despite all the comparisons i think he can opearte in the centre of midfield too and would surely be useful as a squad player? He may be old but with it he brings a range of exp. He knows how to get out of the CCC and altohugh we are building a squad for the CCC, despite the money we have it is highly unlikely every member of the squad is going to be of a high CCC standard.
