Mr Dad Posted 29 December, 2010 Share Posted 29 December, 2010 Do you mean to the tune of 'He plays down the left, He plays down the right'? I'm not sure the AOC line scans that well. Anyway, the long name bit seems a good idea in both of our suggestions. All we need is the Northam Operatic Chorus to try and get one of the songs going. saintmatt Posted 29 December, 2010 Share Posted 29 December, 2010 He's got a long name, He's got a long naaaame, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, He's got a long name! this one cropped on here a few months back: he's alex oxlade-chamberlain, his name is too long to fit in a song, but we will try to fit it in, cos he's alex oxlade-chamberlain i thought it was pretty good, but it's never caught on. also, for lallana (stolen from man utd/ronaldo song) adam lallana, adam lallana, running down the wing, hear the southampton sing, adam lallana
alehouseboys Posted 29 December, 2010 Share Posted 29 December, 2010 Keep the suggestions coming...they'll never catch on! One of the better ones (suggested by a few) that never caught on... ...Viva Lallana ...can't beat a bit of bouncing...watch out at 1:18 when Le Tiss walks on... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtLxpMyh13g&feature=related ...and before he leaves us... Griffo Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 The Maxi Rodrigues song that Liverpool sing would fit well with Alex Chamberlain. 'Saints will tear you apart, agaaain' for when we're tearing a team apart/winning. 'I see the Northam End arising, I see there's trouble on the way, Don't go out tonight, Unless you're red and white, I see there's trouble on the way.' Didn't we used to sing that a few years back in one form or another?

Barry the Badger Posted 2 February, 2011 Share Posted 2 February, 2011 What about a hymn book idea, all the songs could be listed in order of service. Most people know the words to most of the songs. It's just that one people struggle with becasue it's sung quite fast as is quite wordy, which is a shame as it would sound awesome if everybody knew the words.
