ladysaint Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 (edited) apparently on sale as from Monday, should sell out quickly, two tickets per season ticket. Edited 18 March, 2011 by ladysaint
saintscottofthenortham Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 This'll be a cracker. Mates getting our tickets first thing Monday as it will sell out quick. Last years visit was one of my best away days but we won't be able to take that many of us up there this year.

The9 Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 Why not? I assume the theory is that Orient are on a run of form and will have about 5000 plastics to help fill their home seats this time. Which they may well have if West Ham aren't busy.
Joe Kirkup Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 I'm starting to get p*ssed off with the way tickets are being allocated. Many of us aren't ST holders for lots of reasons but I go every other week plus midweek games which means a mix of home and away. S/T holders getting first dibs is fine by me but why TWO tickets, so they can give one to their mate who hardly ever goes? bleat bleat

LGTL Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 Silly way to allocate tickets but i'll be sorted none the less. Will probably make General Sale just about anyway.

Also, weird that our allocation has been dropped from last year. Plus a bit strange that there is 525 family tickets, might be good to keep the support divided between those that stand and those that don't, but that is a fair old chunk of the allocation. ladysaint Posted 18 March, 2011 Author Share Posted 18 March, 2011 I really cant see why there are doing two per season ticket holder when we have in the region of 11k ST holders and this game could be the most important game this season for us. Saints foreva Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2318938,00.html Well looks like they've only given us 2,750, whether we get anymore - it was more last season. Most probably due to the idiots that ran on the pitch when we scored our 2nd last season. We had something like 3,300 last season.

Sour Mash Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 Also, while I'm having a moan, how come the tickets go on sale the Monday after a home Saturday game? To ensure as many as possible have to pay the £3 fee I reckon!

forever a red and white Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 Looking forward to this if can get tickets will be nice goto a big away day. With regards to the £3.00 that is probably correct, although I wish people wpuld stop moaning, Cortese correctly said we needed the charge to cover costs, the small price having the most expensive squad in the division. Griffo Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 I reckon the family tickets are in the front part of the stand. I seem to remember there was a 'walkway' of sorts towards the bottom, then maybe 4 or 5 rows of seats infront of it.

I'll tell you what, you pay my ticket tax every time and I'll button it. Yup, that's about the sum of my complaint on the matter. I couldn't give a crap about having a sponsor on the shirt and don't regard it as any kind of "gift" to me, but forcing me to go to St Mary's to buy my ticket to avoid additional charges (including for away games) is bloody annoying. Um Bongo Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 I wonder if the smaller allocation of tickets is due to the fans who went onto the pitch last season? Maybe the first few rows won't be sold.
Saint Samuel Posted 18 March, 2011 Share Posted 18 March, 2011 Must admit I've been looking forward to this one all season, was great last year having 3,000 Saints fans at a ground like Orients, haven't been to as many away days as I would've liked this season, so will be making the most of this one. um pahars Posted 19 March, 2011 Share Posted 19 March, 2011 My only comment on the matter would be that we appear to be our somewhat inconsistent with regards our policy when these issues arise. I would have thought a much better way would be to agree a policy for a season (for away matches, big Cup matches etc), publish it up front and then adhere to it. That way everyone knows the score before they buy (or don't buy) a season ticket, before they go to loads of away matches etc, rather than have it dropped on them a a couple of weeks before the game. (I think whatever the Ticket Office decide will upset someone, but at least if they have policy and adhere to it throughout the season, then at least we'll only have the argument once!!!!!). Turkish Posted 19 March, 2011 Share Posted 19 March, 2011 This is a ridiculous decision. Why do season ticket holders need 2 tickets? What about those fans who can only get to away games and aren't season ticket holders? What about those fans that aren't season ticket holders that go to every home game and most away games? I see we have a woman running the ticket office now i'd expect some more insane decisions on ticketing in the future. Women + business = Problems Women + football = problems Women + business + football = recipe for disaster.
