Have not seen this mentioned before so thought i would mention it, im bodybuilding at the moment and came across myprotein website and found this.

Lee Banard and Jason Puncheon were the athletes we chose to be part of the advertisement for this product not great choice i suppose ;), but i thought the Q and A bit was very good reading saying the players take nutrition seriously and seem to be hard working lads, just hope any new players we sign are gonna be the same as it seems were going very sports science based like we did under WGS.

Strangely I only saw the pic of Puncheon and Barnard a couple of days ago as well, must have been a link on here that indirectly led to it. It must be old news, for the very existence of Puncheon and Barnard in the same photo when linked to Saints. Neither are exacty PR-friendly for the club at this time...

...but if they hadn't paid for exclusivity then the Liebherrs would have just taken over sooner.

And didn't Leon Crouch even end up paying for that?

Sorry, I had sarcasm mode on in my previous post - the version of events on the linked page was certainly an interesting interpretation of history...

why CEE and not Monohydrate?

It is better, although opinions vary depending on people's agenda and there is a lot of junk science out there

From a bodybuilding site

CEE is a creatine molecule with an ester attached. Normal creatine molecules are zwitterions, or molecules with one positive end and one negative end. This causes less absorption into the body.

However, the ester counteracts the charges and allows for almost 99% absorption into the body! This removes the need for a loading phase, and is THE MOST absorbent creatine by far yet!

Pros:

More effective because of increased absorption.

All users will respond to this.

Does not cause any of the side effects of monohydrate such as bloating or stomach discomfort.

No loading phase or a 1 day loading phase.

Cons:

Foul taste in powder form, some users reported it tasted like battery acid! There are capsule forms, however, that eliminate this.

Expensive compared to monohydrate and micronized.

Just as little tit bit on the nutrion side, I went to Chelseas training ground a couple of years ago as they were finishing their new players building, which cost 30 million (Which is more than St Marys !!) and as well as swimming pools with xray machines built into the side, they told us how the drinks machine there is based on the blood test and other tests data and the player punches in his own code and the machine dispenses a drink specially made up of the right nutrients / vitamins etc. for that individual player..... Can we have one of those at Staplewood please :)
