Late fitness test for Phil tonight. Bit ngrumph this morning but should pull through

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 I put £20 on Preston last week to see if we would end up with 3 points. My logic was, if we lose, then I've earnt a nice little bonus to see me through the first few hours of saturday, if we win, then I'd pay £20 for a Saints victory every week... ...I've just put £20 on City... Leicestersaint Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 You only have to look at the results to see how often we **** up on Sky - but sooner or later we will break the curse and i have a feeling it will be today - let's hope so! The expression c o c k up is not rude at all - it refers to c o cking a gun! Some silly programmers ought not to show their ignorance so much. Saints67 Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 I don't think we're on Sky Sports now for the rest of the year! Hopefully cue a shoot up the league for us.
Dannyboy_Saint Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 Unfortunately we are. We play Crystal Palace away somewhen in december i believe. That makes 2 0-1 home defeats and 2 4-1 away defeats on sky so far this season. If we loose to Palace 4-1 then we know that we have a curse. Unfortunately though I tend to agree with Arizona - it has nothing to do with any Sky curse - we are just a very, very poor football team.
Wildgoose Posted 9 November, 2008 Share Posted 9 November, 2008 Shame they didn't choose last week though, eh? Would have made good viewing for the neutrals and they'd have seen us winning for a change.

Dannyboy_Saint Posted 9 November, 2008 Share Posted 9 November, 2008 I dont deny that we are rubbish and therefore more than likely to loose whether we're on sky or not but having both away and both home results exactly the same? Bit spooky if you ask me.
