Saint Garrett Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Given that we stay up, which is the biggest game left for you and why? The one I most want us to win has to be the WHU game. All my best mates are WHU fans and have got stick from them all season. Also Upton Park was probably the lowest point in the season for me. Would also love us to win next week, to get our own back on Reading after their smash and grab last season.
SaintBobby Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Spurs away. We were fantastically unlucky not to have taken any points from either of the Man Utd games, but to end the season having taken points from all of the other top 7 would be pleasing. Lighthouse Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 I reckon the Sunderland game could be the one to keep us up, if we get the right result. I would love to do the double over Reading as I work with a Royals fan and he was very cocky after their trip to St Mary's last year. A win next week would pretty much keep us up and send them down, so I will say that.
The Kraken Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 The next game. A win, and I'd suggest we're much closer to safety, especially if other results go our way. A defeat and some of the teams below us picking up points and we're right back into the dogfight. I'm adopting a rather boring "take every game as it comes" attitude. Graffito Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Reading because if we beat them I'll feel like we're almost there. Beyond that, Tottenham because I have to live amongst them and West Ham because they deserve a hammering.
View From The Top Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Beat Reading & I think we are almost home and hosed and is currently the "biggest" game on the run in. For work reasons I'd like us to thrash WBA.

Boring but it has to be the next game, the next game being reading makes it even more poignant what with them beating us to the title last year, Adkins and pretty much relegating them and ensuring our safety. That said, if we lose then it'd be the game after that and so on until we're safe.
Andre Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Can't wait for the last game of the season. Who cares which is the biggest, we should be trying to win all of 'em.
Olallana Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Would really love if we could show The Hoofers how to play ball, but I´m also into "next game"-mode.

See what you did there Reading for me, need to make sure we turn up against a 'lesser' team, probably the easiest game we have left, would probably see us safe by itself, and can't see us needing more than 1 win in 7 after that to guarantee it. SNSUN Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Beating Reading and Sunderland could potentially send them down. Both massive games. Who knows, the biggest game could be Stoke on the last day - if we need to win it to stay up. I think (and hope) we'll be clear of relegation by then anyway. I can't see us getting anything from the Spuds game, but then we said that about both the Liverpool and Chelsea matches. They're all winnable, if you think about it. For me, as I dislike them, I hope we beat Reading the most, although I am going to the Hammers game (and can make the Stoke game if I have tickets) so a win against them would be good. SuperMikey Posted 31 March, 2013 Share Posted 31 March, 2013 Sunderland is our biggest game imo, we never get points up in the North East and with their run-in we could be consigning them to relegation and securing our safety - or the other way around..
