And frankly, reading Jonnyboy and Saintandy getting into the academic detail of feminism at the moment... Well, it's like watching porn ! ;)

Just imagine, me and Andy, together in a room, debating feminism furiously. Maybe even with our tops off.

Would you like that?

PS. It would be most useful if you could let me know who the sharks are on here?

Can we have a list? I like lists :)

That will have to be a PM list I think.

By the way, of the 9 different stalkers you have, how many sent you borderline-illegal pictures by PM?

Hmm. Given I assume anyone who's half smart on here is probably in their 50s (which isn't a bad thing, don't get me wrong, I like older men), I think maybe keeping your tops on would enhance the attractiveness rather than detract. If you know what I mean. But yeah, I'd definitely like that!

Yes - PM me that list! I definitely need insider knowledge!

But you're wrong, I have no pics. And no stalkers. Except Bearsy, but to be honest I stalk him more than the other way round. Most are just nice people either saying thank you for something nice I've done for them, or sending me a helpful note about something I wasn't aware of forum related. It's all a very nice world in my inbox.

To be honest, I think most people on here are a little bit scared of me. And I kind of like it that way.

I'm not fussed by porn in itself. I don't particularly want to see it on a football forum. And I'm not sure modern porn is a great influence on teenage boys (for all sorts of reasons I'm not going to go into). But I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it.

**** off! This is a joke yeah? You spend your time criticising us due to disagreeing with your over-zealous hyperbolic view on feminism, where 'nice tits' is abhorrent sexist antagonism, yet you don't really see a problem with p0rn.

You must be ****ing trolling. Seriously.

I'm kidding, not really...! Can I have that list now... :)

To be honest I'm not really ITK in that department, sorry. Although there was a real ladies man called Stu Romsey Saint a while back.

I'm sure 99% are absolutely lovely and would make great dating material!

Noooo, don't follow me into here! This was my sanctuary from your sterile, static, wooden views on a complex, sophisticated topic. It was doing my head in!

But seriously Jeff, I don't want **** you off, but our brains work very differently, and there's really no point us debating this anymore. Really. I was on the verge earlier of accusing you of trolling, but I can see that's not the case anymore. So let's just leave it at that.

This is the most frustrating thing, and why I have actually decided you're trolling half the time with this sexism ****, is that you deflect any questions that I specifically have asked of you. I expect you can't explain why you don't mind p0rn, yet find GYTOFTL so offensive, as I think it will invalidate your whole sexism argument.

Fair enough, it's pretty **** to be hypocritical over something you very blatantly feel passionate over, but **** me, that takes the biscuit.

Anyway, off to watch some rape p0rn, unsure if it's real or not, but who cares, there is no issue with that according to the Saintsweb sexism moderator.

Jeff, since you mentioned them i'm keen to know - what is your favourite kind of biscuit? Do you prefer a classic Bourbon? Or maybe something slightly more jazzy like a pistachio cookie?

Please get back to me ASAP.

Now come on, the point is that mainstream porn is consensual and the humans involved are being paid to do something professionally. Women being shouted at in the street haven't agreed to this.

Oh f*ck me, I'm going to let you bait me good and proper here, Jeff. But after this, I'm done. 100%. Don't ask me follow up questions to this. Just think a little, and try and see the world from a different perspective than you're used to.

I don't find porn, at its most purest level inherently offensive, because I'm not offended by sex or the need for people to have sexual fantasies. I think that's perfectly normal and healthy. I think some of the modern versions of porn are more problematic. Especially when they are demeaning to women, and are a particularly bad influence on young boys, and how they behave towards young girls. But that's another matter. But porn, at its most basic level, and in private, is relatively harmless, IMO. Other may disagree. I think there's a debate to be had, but not with me, on here.

What I don't like about the some of the sexist behaviour we've been discussing is it isn't harmless. There's a person it's being aimed at and that is affected by the behaviour. That's the big difference you don't seem to understand. I have a pretty damn consistent view on this across all the threads I comment on. Sex = good. Humiliating someone, shaming them, belittling them, embarrassing them, controlling them, hurting them = bad. It's really as simple as that.

And no, I'm not looking to hook up with anyone on here, in case anyone else is thinking it. Thanks.

Funny story: I've just recently got into drinking Bourbon whiskey. But I had no idea it was pronounced differently to the biscuit, so have been saying it as "bore-bon" instead of "burr-bun". Boy did they make fun of me when I tried ordering it at the bar!

As I said, funny story.

Fine. I can see that. However, I don't think you watch 80% of p0rn, as the list of bad things is what a vast amount of p0rn is about - and its not a new thing.

What I do find funny is for the main part I have agreed with everything you've said (which I have said a number of times, but you obviously haven't read my posts correctly). However, I think you are wildly inconsistent in what you think is sexist, that's all, and for someone who talks with such authority (ie if we don't agree with the sexism oracle we're narrow minded) it certainly confuses me. You seem to have an issue with the acts of sexism, but no problem with what CREATES those issues.

Jeff, if you really cant see the difference between porn and blokes singing GYTOFTL at some poor woman just doing her job this thread will end up longer than the Portsmouth take over thread.

The only time I've seen fans singing about tits, it was aimed at a Sheffield Wednesday faux celebrity, Tango Man

PA-9975934.jpg

After a brief strip tease at the front of the away end he was then involved in a dance off with an even larger topless Saints fan in the Itchen. All this to the tune of "he's got bigger tits than you!" from the home fans.

Yes, I'm talking about nowadays??

The thing is that is has been ingrained over the centuries. Internet porn and Take Me Out are very recent affairs. Porn has been around forever too but it is different to not allowing women the vote and treating women like second class citizens. Many women enjoy porn too, Sex is natural and it is natural for both men and women to explore their sexual fantasies.

This usually involves consenting adults and privacy. This is very different to a bunch of blokes embarrassing a woman going on with her professional job but chanting for her to expose her breasts.

When the worst name you can call someone is the same word used for female genitalia, what does that tell you about the division of the sexes?

Please do a review of something, or a joke, or rude pics - anything that will be a distraction from the never ending, mindless responses on the sexism threads on the Lounge. I can't take it anymore!

Sorry I didn't come along and help Lou, but I'm a bit older than you and in spite of a mild masochistic streak (Saints fan etc...) I've learnt that beating your head against a brick wall is less fun than heading an under-inflated football on a wet day. Still, at least some posters warn you with their user names, like Unbelievable Jeff...

Porn has never done much for me (I rely on imagination ), and I do have to thank Bearsy of this parish for his review of 50 Shades, which convinced me (amid much laughter, I have to admit) that such a badly written book wasn't worth bothering about.

Fine, if you think tha GYTOFTL is more damaging to women than porn, then that's your opinion. Personally, I think we're creating a generation of children, mainly men, who will spend their time disrespecting women more due to watching that, rather than a few numbskulls shouting stupid, irreverent chants. But as I said, that's your opinion.

I don't think I have ever debated anything with you Sue, even under previous usernames, so personally I won't cast aspersions on your character or on what you have written in the past.

I actually find it hard to believe that you lot think a few idiots singing GYTOFTL is more damaging to women than porn, and a whole generation of boys growing up thinking that women are just there for our personal gratification. Is it just me that finds this utterly ridiculous?????

LOL! Oh, that's OK Sue! I'll happily stand my ground on anything if I think it's imporant, but it great we've got so many male feminists on here too. Really inspiring actually. I'm older than I sometimes seem as well, so you might not be much older than me, if at all!

Unbelievable Jeff and Hypo have an amazing way of not getting a point, throwing something completely different at you to validate their argument, and then insist repeatedly for a response. It's a clever tactic completely devoid of any logic. Although I suspect if I tried using it, I'd be accused of being a typical woman ;)

But I do think important to discuss these things, even if it results in banging head against a wall. It's very rare people change their views overnight. And the more discussion, opinions, others perspectives openly discussed about sexism in football, the more people will slowly start understanding, and then potentially change their views. And when I say people I mean it - women too, not just men. I think it's important I express my views or experiences in a football forum I'm a part of, because I'm a female who likes football. If I don't say it, who will?

Lou, I think you are getting this whole discussion wrong. I will break it down into bullet points for you:

- I think sexism at football is wrong, but the world is not just black and white. GYTOFTL is very mild sexism. What was shouted at the physio was pretty sick and is towards the other end of the scale.

- Different people react to things in different ways. What I am trying to get at here is that some women would get offended by the above, some people wouldn't. You do, so you think EVERYONE should. That's not how the world works.

- You say that most women suffer from sexism on a day to day basis. I really, really, don't think this is true, unless we're living in the Middle East. I'm sure some of your groupies will be along in a minute to defend you on this (very sexist btw, thinking you can't defend yourself) but from the people I have asked none of them see sexism as a big problem anymore.

- Personally, I think shows like 'Take Me Out' which is shown primetime to millions of people all over the country on a weekly basis is more dangerous to both the males and females views on sexism than a couple of chants from a couple of idiots that has been widely condemned.

- Similarly, porn that depicts harrassment, rape, torture, domination, humiliation, irrespective on whether that is shown in private, or whether it is acted or real.

Seriously Jeff, I'm done. I don't mean to be rude, but my points have been made, I have nothing left to contribute.
