Should VVD be sold in January?

Amazed that after the slagging the club got for selling our best players before that so many people are now saying van Dijk should have been sold in the summer.

Club were caught in a difficult position really, but it was a fair stance and they stood by their word - can't fault them for that. Unfortuntley VVD has turned out to be a bit of an idiot, although he's played and hasn't dropped any clangers, you can see his level has dropped and he looks disinterested, the fact he doesn't get the captain's armband says it all for me.

Give the club their due, they made a stance, but they now need to do what is right and let him go in order to strengthen the rest of our side.

I don't think the club can be blamed...look at Anfield they had the same situation and yet the bloke is playing out of his skin.

We could have had a Morgan situation where he gave us a decent year but the blokes obviously a class A knob.

Perhaps having a manager who can motivate might have given us a happier outcome as well.

Still in the no sale group

Why cut your nose off - he isn't going to play for us again. He isn't going to play anywhere near his ability for us and going through the motions.

If you were giving 100% in a game and he was cruising how would you feel? His half ars8d attempt v Leicester for the 4th goal summed him up(ok Yosh was at fault too).

If we can use that money to recruit more players to replace some of Davis, Tadic, Redmond, JWP and Long then surely its worth it?

Perhaps, but sadly he is better than what we have even if he is playing half arsed (allegedly) and will we spend wisely... jury is out..

Well we did ok getting in Lemina and Hoedt - big issue is this idiot of a manager and his tactics, game plan and ability to recognise whats wrong in a game.

Yes those two are decent but would the manager be able to chose the right players as he has difficulty working out how to play what he has

Our one winneable game v Huddersfield and he picks four midfielders who cant tackle for toffee against a battling team. That after not bringing on Lemina versus Arsenal for last 15 minutes as we were being overrun. Burnley made 2 changes we did fck all ...yep same again on Saturday...he just doesn't seem to get football at all - frightened rabbit.

It must be a Christmas theme because Puel did it last year changing 3 of the back 4 against WBA.

No point giving this clown new players they will be abysmal after a month.

I started off in the window praising out stance but by the end of the window it was clear that we should sell once he fees became massive and it was obvious he didn't want to be here.

Sure there are posts to back that up. Don’t recall much clamour to get rid but now getting levelled at board as a fck up. Annoying as these cnts do hold all the power and more evidence that rarely effective holding out.
