Starmer has not cancelled any elections, the Councils affected by planned LG reorganisation have asked to do so because of that work - Councils of all political hues. Do you understand the difference between ‘cancelled” and “postponed?” You seem to ignore what is happening. There is a huge change coming in the organisation of local councils. They have been asked if they need more time to prepare for these changes. Some have said yes, some no and some I believe have yet to decide. Do you think it is the best use of tax payers money to hold an election this Spring, at great expense when local councils are short of cash, when that council will not exist next year or will have to hold another poll due to various changes? Perhaps you do, with your space cadet thinking out of the box mentality. Yet again, the poster with the self proclaimed biggest intellect on the forum, manages to add 2 + 2 and come up with the answer = fish.

He also doesn’t seem to understand the direct difference in the effect on the two different governments between the mid terms in the US and local council elections here. No surprise though as he believes that Marxists and Fascists are the same.
badgerx16 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) At a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee this week, the Republicans invited several leaders of the Oath Keepers to sit in the audience, including some who have not received pardons so still have convictions for sedition. One of their leadership was present as a witness, answering questions from the committee members. When pressed by Democrat member Jared Moskowitz he explained why the riot happened; Most of the people in the crowd were active or retired military personnel and law enforcement officers, who were marching peacefully but then the Capitol Police started using tear gas. This automatically triggered the training of these peaceful marchers who switched into self-defence mode and fought back against those that had attacked them. Edited 1 hour ago by badgerx16
