You’re right, but on a different note how long will it be before we see some copycat incidents of pupil/student unrest in the UK ? Seeing it on the news, it seems inevitable that some bastard will think that looks a good way of expressing some sentiment or other.
Farmer Saint Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Mindless violence - the French have always done this though, when they protest they really go for it. 1

I would suggest spending some time reading and learning about civil unrest in France. Edited October 18 by Farmer Saint 1

Its true, my son's primary school asked parents for a small donation to help with stationery, etc. Bit pissed as surely that should be provided as a given, but couldn't be arsed to form a protest to smash up the school like the French do Edited October 18 by skintsaint

Will only further the support for Marine Le Pen ahead of the elections. 3

badgerx16 Posted Monday at 09:35 Posted Monday at 09:35 From a person I know well ; The DWP received the paperwork for the renewal of their child's DLA claim on July 16th, the award needs renewing from October 24th. As of this morning the case has yet to be assessed.

I heard some of the programme around it yesterday. The part I heard had a number of people essentially trapped. The moment they do anything, like Brian in the article, they lose the support. They're then liable for rents that make working very counter-productive. They can't move elsewhere, because the money going to them goes to their support landlords. They have no savings to get a deposit elsewhere. And not working makes that very difficult anyway. The whole thing is something I'd have thought a Burnham government would be interested in sorting. I hope so. 1

Weston Super Saint Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I hope Oswaldo is OK - there are no reports of casualties so he should be fine. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr93zwjw1k4qo Quote Police in the southern German state of Bavaria have detained a suspect during a fire at Adolf Hitler's Alpine mountain retreat, the Kehlsteinhaus, also known as the Eagle's Nest.
