Palace sack Vieira

Actually think that is a bit crazy by Palace. A bit like with Ralph, they've had bad injuries and tough fixtures. They were always in games so seems like a total panic sacking, they're not going down imo

11 games without a win , they could see the gap closing below them and opted for a new manager bounce to get the points to see them over the line, unless they appoint Nathan Jones they should be ok

Yep a bit of a surprise, which is a weird thing to say when they haven't won this calendar year and just broke the record for having no shots on goal in 3 games. I think Palace will be fine. Its us, Bournemouth and either Leeds or Forest for the drop IMO.

Candidate for manager for our inaugural Championship campaign next season?

Get him in!

In the summer probably. JWP, KWP etc will leave but basically there is a core of players who are easily moulded into a top 2 side with a manager and coaching staff who know vaguely what they are doing, and clear out the jokers from this season. Aribo gets stick on here but decent when he first started and could be a standout player in the Champ. And Suleiman and Edozie definitely could, express pace destroys teams at that level. We are always better with a name manager - Lawrie became one, Hoddle, WGS, Poch, Koeman and RH’s early on. So Vieira, Gerrard (some will roll their eyes but has the loan contacts you need), Rooney, Rafa - any of those get you back up.

I'm not sure Aribo has ever been decent - he was good with the ball at the start of the season, but completely lazy off the ball. He's like an anti-elyuseless between them there are all the parts of a decentish player but on their own they are both half a footballer.
