It was even publicised by a well known, very trustworthy local Blackburn journalist. Time to move on. On 29/07/2026 at 07:47, Sparkkyy said: What are you talking about? He signed for Blackburn. 2 year deal Can’t believe he signed for Blackburn (as confirmed by Dave from Slough on Twitter and is still talking to Swansea…… 1

Barsiem Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Suspect the Swansea move is made up BS personally... The guy who tweeted it is pretty unreliable, and usually you'd get a better source (like Romano) verifying it quite quickly afterwards

bugenhagen Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He might also just want a fresh start. Everything about his time here screams treatment rooms and injuries. Could just be a simple as that.

Scoobysaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I do wonder if Stewart was the player who allegedly kicked off once we were kicked out the final. That was his chance to get the year extension and get to play in the Prem, to show he could cut it at that level and prove himself. Also, with fewer games and arguably a less physical demanding league, proven that he could have coped in the Prem. Would have set him up nicely to get that one last big contract. Instead he’s off to Swansea.

Cabrone Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) If he stays healthy it's a cracking signing for them, when fit he was great. Was kinda hoping we might have kept him but if a player wants out there's no point keeping them against their will. Best of luck to Ross. So, who is going to replace him? Edited 1 hour ago by Cabrone

LiberalCommunist Posted 3 minutes ago Posted 3 minutes ago Looking forward to seeing him play, whilst it doesn't mean a gasp of anxiety when he goes to control the ball. No hard feelings, but also no tears.
