You can argue that all our recruitment has benefited from the multi club model because it allows us to pool the resources of three clubs into one global scouting network. (Impossible to prove admittedly)

Or it's just cheaper to get people who were working solely for our club to now work for other clubs as well.

Well, I guess, that "technically"... ...analysts from Turkish or French clubs would not be subject to any EFL 72hr scouting ban? 🤔

If the multi-club model didn't exist, we wouldnt be having this intelligent debate and I'd be wasting time looking at gross stuff on interestingasfuck instead.

What benefit has there been?

Matsuki wouldn't have been eligible to play in England had he not played for Göztepe.

He needed to get the points for international clearance.

I like the idea. Brighton, Man City, Chelsea and Red Bull show it can work if done properly. We don't buy enough players to send to these team i.e Szobozslai RB, Savinho City Group. Is Juan the last player we bought that went to Goztepe on loan? Not going to see benefits if we aren't sending them young talent.

Some won’t ever warm to it. Fair. For me it’s a good idea but hasn’t been effective yet. I have felt for a long time we need to be creative to get a competitive edge as we can’t compete financially, on current terms, with a large number of top flight teams. Anyway, back to transfers - any rumblings on a Charles replacement? Was the lad at Hibs mooted for that type of role?

When does a good idea stop being a good idea? When you put Rasmus in charge of it.
