Why will they have them ready when they are probably still in City's hands??

Should be easy , 33,250 was stated as initial allocation.

Last season with semi finalists were just given 36,500 up front

Have a plan in place if a team sells the tickets then put then implement that plan rather than miss out on potential selling days

Upper and lower between halfway line and corner flag wont

Why wouldn't they?
I can't remember the last time I went to an away game and sat down...?

Most of our lot at Wembley for playoffs and league cup final / FA Cup semis were stood from memory as they should be if they can...creates a much better atmosphere.

Could be a few skates about for those getting the early trains. Their options to get to Stoke are either go to Waterloo and then on to Euston and up to Stoke or come to central and get the cross country.

Probably be a few at Waterloo post match as well.

Annoyingly already had this route booked (leaving from Airport) as was planning to be in London anyway on the 25th.

Understand the logistics of the extra services only going from Central, but it's got me twitchy that I'll even be able to get onto 'my' train.

Not too bothered if it's standing room only, as it's only 40 mins to Reading.

If you change at Basingstoke, both SWR and GWR run trains to Reading and there are about 10 an hour to Paddington!! I don't think they are that much slower and won't have that strange smell Cross Country trains have!!

I am not sure how viable it is but you can go via Salisbury - Reading - Paddington

The central --> basingrad --> reading --> paddington route might be viable but i guess that'll be packed by saints travelling from north hampshire?

The JPT and the Playoff Final we drove to Basingstoke and caught the train from there and it wasn't that busy, you couldn't get on at Eastleigh or Winchester. I suspect this time people with travel to Central to get the train from there but you might get diverted out of Platform 4 and have to queue up outside Platform 1!!

I thought loads of people were sacking it off because they were going to Preston instead?

Definitely shocked at how quickly they sold. Be interesting to see how many more go if/when we get them.

I’m sure they’ll be more released, I’d have thought the FA wouldn’t want a half empty ground

Yeah it's just whether it's the 3k to match last season's allocation or whether they give us some of City's too.

City started a new window this morning I believe so probably waiting to see if that makes any dent. Regardless they're not going to need the rest of the upper tier it seems.

Wonder how many more we'd sell. Cant have been thousands waiting for general sale you'd have thought.

Driving to Woking station might be a good option, as there will presumably  be some trains starting from there .

City forum reckons they've sold 21k

Been messaging a City fan mate of mine and apparently this is their 32nd visit to Wembley since Pep became manager!

No wonder there's not a large appetite for this game from their perspective.

Away games yes we all stand.

Play off final most of the upper was sat especially on sides

As things stand 33,250 saints, 21,000 City , plus club Wembley corporate (which is roughly 60% of middle tier about 7000, companies that own those seats dont always use them)

So as things stand 61,000 attendance

Yep... The company I work for used to have 6 club wembley seats and we often didn't utilise them for semi-finals

This isn't a usual away game though.  There are 10-15k season ticket holders who are used to seating who will be at Wembley.

I've deliberately tried to pick a spot where people will be seated. My Dad is 79 and can't stand for 90 mins so needs to be in an area where people sit.

Same for me, went unused so often I often went to England games or semi finals on them, typically company got rid of them end of last season. I went to the Man City v Forest semi last year (club Wembley block 241) , were loads left empty around there.

I think it does spoil the big game occasion if there's 20,000+ empty seats

I also think there is an expectation that they will win the semi and they are saving themselves for the final.
