And so do the seats with them presumably.

Just to ascertain a fact, it seems they actually close the website at 0920 even if you're already browsing on it.  Got bumped down the queue quite significantly.

Maybe they did that to avoid the "already logged in" issues people were experiencing yesterday?

FFS people... Hurry up.... How long does it takes you to check out FFS

Aaaaaand.... Breathe...

Why don't they just buy a f***ing bigger server that can handle all the concurrent requests at the same time, rather than have this antiquated queuing system... It's 2026 not 1981 FFS!

I logged in at 8.45am was number 121 in queue then they closed until 9.30am but was in within 2 mins , 3 tickets sorted and really quick.

One bit of advice for anyone waiting to get on, it is likely the first seats you pick, that it will then say they are no longer available and suggest nearby alternatives. Even after that, still double check when you go to the next screen, as it changed again and tried to put my 9 year old son a few rows behind me, so had to go back and modify the seat choice again. Can see it being quite easy to miss that it has changed. Obviously the system tries to prioritise not leaving any single seats, over people sitting together.

Boom, got my ticket. Didn't get the one I selected bizarrely, got the block, 551, but not the seat? I can only assume someone else got the seat I picked and it automatically gave me the next available one?

FFS, I've sat in the queue for 20 minutes - got through, put my seats in my basket AND ITS FUCKING PUT ME BACK IN THE QUEUE!!!!

Posted (edited)

That was odd and a panic moment. Joined a little before 930 and about 1500. Got to the front and then it said not eligible - I assumed at this stage I had made that error of joining queue before 930 (but I couldn't resist).

Thought I'd need to rejoin or phone.

But I clicked buy now from the original way I joined the queue and the system must have remembered me (?) because that took me straight to selecting seats etc. Success.

So if this does happen to anyone else just try clicking that original red buy now link.

Got to 'your order is complete and check email'.

How long for emails to come through?

As can't get onto site to check recent purchases due to site being busy. So assume i have a ticket.

My email came through a minute or two later.

Mine was instant. Others have said slower to come through.

Joined queue and was number 1588, if you rearrange the numbers that makes 1885, the date the club was formed.

This , of course, means we will win the cup .

2 tkts purchased took 11 mins in queue.

Still back way down at 3200, I guess no safe standing for us.

I can't believe how stressful this is, I hope they use a different system if we get into either of the finals - not sure my heart can take it...

There was still a fair amount of safe standing available around 15 minutes ago

I grabbed what I could at the price range I wanted and now realise how close I'll be to the opposition. Block 552 near the barriers, on the other side of which I assume they'll be....

Was 4,100 in the queue at 9:28, by 10:04 got through and 3 tickets purchased by 10:08, email confirmation received 10:09. Was actually very smooth and quick.

My twin boys are going to be so happy when they get home from school! Now need to purchase 3 yellow tops!

I’m fairly certain Saints still haven’t put half the upper tier on sale. They hadn’t by yesterday evening anyway. Everyone will get a ticket.

From what I could see today, I think all the upper tier blocks are now on sale

Me too - I realised i wasnt logged into the website before i joined the queue. As soon as i logged into the sfc website it remebered me and took me straight to the seating map.

And I was logged in! At least it worked out both ways.

i went in with about 4500 in the queue .

I'm surprised that we even have that many members this season, assuming it will be mostly members today

Some season ticket holders will have waited I imagine to sit with members.

Plus all the people with multiple browsers open.

Ok it is annoying, i was in it and picking seats and then kicked out and back in the queue again. Looks like a lot of tickets about so not too worried but it is annoying.

Anyone had any problems linking Friends and family who should be eligible but we're greyed out?

I had no problems with that. I followed the advice from some who had issues yesterday and made sure the Friends & Family i was buying for were not logged in on any other devices etc. Some phones etc remember the details and keep you logged in, so had to manually log out.

Managed to get a ticket. Now to book flights back from Gran Canaria for the day...my missus doesn't know yet, I might just tell her I'm going for a walk and when I get back the next morning say I did a lap of the island.

every time i chose a ticket it said it was gone. Went for automatic, ended up in red zone 529, seems ok. Son will be pleased.

Are there any coaches planned?

Finally got my ticket in the gods - it seems when you navigate to a new section it puts you back in the queue which is very irritating!

Yep still plenty of that but ticket sales look incredibly strong this morning, most of the upper tier full allocation now on sale and selling well.

Man City have their allocation on sale to all season ticket holders and members who can buy 3 tickets EACH , they've sold roughly 20k so far

529 are good seats, near half way line will be excellent view.

Coaches - can book official through the club or unofficial through Nick:

I still have my " Road to Cardiff " yellow T shirt  from 2003, so I'm saving there :)

Hope you and the boys have a fantastic day.

I was lucky enough to take my two boys to Cardiff, ( £80 each  with no child discounts   even then ) a very memorable day despite the result. If only Beatts late effort had gone in.....

Loads like that I think, I just bought 9, 5 season ticket holders and 4 members, if sales continue like they are most of the 33k will be gone today , impressive,  hopefully club can confirm extra allocation if that happens
