Wasn't Albert Jones 'in the frame' (so to speak) when the news first broke? He is, after all, the only 'first team analyst' that appears on the OS... Maybe one of the 'unhinged' theories was correct all along... i.e. that this was all going on without Tonda really knowing what was going on at a detailed level...? (i.e. he maybe knew that 'spying' was taking place but not specifically when, where, etc....?)

I think it may well be the same! Just interesting that the whole thing about FA charges sounded definite. That wasn't the case last week at any rate.

So where was Garner working before he came to Saints? I remember reading that these analysts tend to move around a bit between clubs and have their own ‘community’. Did he have a stint at Boro by any chance? 🤔😏

ah i see. Yes i get the inference and tbh you are probably not wide of the mark as the spying practise is fairly norm in Germany......oh and pretty much everywhere if we are honest!

Although doesn't cover off the Oxford game.....! Unless he was working for us unofficially before Jan! Tonda would have also clearly been advising on it though, I don't believe he was caught totally unawares to this! Maybe this new guy just stepped it up a bit.
