I have been a season ticket holder for over 30 years.
Do I get three bites at the cherry?😇

If you renew a seat near the half way line Dragan will send Phil Parsons round to do the honours. Make of that what you will!

Poor form having a price increase for me personally. The club has shafted an incredibly loyal fanbase that turn up in good numbers despite regularly being served a shit sandwich, and they’ve tried promoting it like we should be lucky they’re doing us a favour.

Unless the game falls during half term of course in which case he won't be there.

Or Boro at home, he’ll be too busy trying to find Gibson to tell him all of our secrets.

It’s £1 extra for me £23.82 per game when Eastleigh are charging £21 it isn’t bad still!

It’s a good price that I can’t argue with, what I really struggle with is that after a disastrous Prem campaign and near record relegation, our fans massively backed the side with ST numbers, only to be served up 4 months of Will Still shite, and then after bringing the noise for the run in and the playoffs we find out the club have cheated and our effort as fans was basically null and void. Then instead of a PR exercise to win back the trust the club are like “yeah it’s an increase, but aren’t you lucky it’s not more!”

Just find it all a bit poor to be honest, think our loyalty gets abused by the owners, and we’re not angry enough about it.

My Eastleigh season ticket (yes had Saints and Eastleigh season ticket) was £99 but nest season its £295. So got a Winchester City one for £120, along with Saints!

I'm sure one of the FAB agenda points was to use the season ticket increase to improve the catering.

Edit: Wouldn't have happened under Lowe.

Edit: The catering. Not wondering about the prices when in a .lower division. That would definitely happen.

First time purchase!  I'm all in for Portsmouth and Boro away.

Prob won't need a ST for Boro and the skates will be the worst away of the season.

Don’t wish to single you out but this is fairly typical of a lazy victim type response from a section of our fans.  In return I would point out:

- inflation and tax changes mean it costs the club, like any business, more than last year

- we are already making a loss

- the energy consumption needs of a stadium and training facilities mean even more price sensitive

- have you heard of financial fair play?  Where do you think revenue comes from?

- were you not entertained last season?

Saying “I can’t afford it” is a totally different position which sadly applies to some fans.  But an anti club rant without addressing these facts is just lazy I am afraid

I don't think it's lazy to expect the club to do some kind of gesture to fans who paid out for Middlesborough home/ away . At the end of the day it was the clubs fault that this happened and the fans have had a miserable end to the season. To refund everyone's ticket costs for these would cost around £1M (and they could do it as a club shop credit or something which would halve the cost) which is fuck all considering they were prepared to sit there ad pay McCarthy £2M/£3M per year (just as an example)

Do you want us to be competitive next season? Its about a quid a game extra, if the club gave you back 2 quid a game discount would that have made a difference to your life? I suggest not, having the comeptitive team out there and the club financially sound is what i want, and those highs were worth the ticket alone. There are England fans paying a grand for one game, i doubt they will get the elation of the Shea or Azaz moments we had

If it’s such an insignificant increase Nick why bother with an increase at all. Of course I want us to be competitive, but a net gain of £500k from ticket increases to a club that spent £12 million on Gavin Bazunu is pretty negligible. Could have froze prices this season and doubled the increase next year and nobody would have batted an eyelid.

I have a wife and two kids, that I love more than anything in the world, but I also love Southampton football club, almost as much and as such tens of hundreds of hours of my life is spent on watching and following Saints either in person or at home. All of that time invested last season travelling home and away in the hopes of seeing this side challenge for something, which they did, was then cruelly taken away from us by a handful of selfish people and our club became a national disgrace and joke as a result.

Now said club want to increase the ticket prices for those loyal fans, because they know they’ll pay it, despite their incredible support and yet to you, anyone who criticises that decision is a “lazy victim” to do so.

what an utter bellend response.
