not going into administration

not today anyway as some predicted.

according to my source at the echo they havnt heard a thing,im sure that they would be aware of a press release or statement from the club, unless of course the club are just going to surprise us.

the extra policing for the QPR game has nothing to do with expected trouble because of administration but just good old fashioned cat c punch ups.

Just as well, as the club would be breaking LSE rules if they leaked such information.....so the fact they haven't heard anything is more likely to suggest there will be an announcement....;)

Happy Friday 13th to one and all

Do QPR have a bad reputation?

Or is it a little more close to home?

we are a cat c team (home and away) and have been for most of the last couple of years,im not sure about QPR but i would imagine that there will be an element looking for an 'away day of entertainment'

For the unitiated amongst us, is Cat C, a high or low priority ?

I'm surprised if we have a high grading on the 'punch up' rating.

Aah, but you haven't read what Lordswood actually said - he mentioned being aware of a pending 'press release or statement' - not of the contents of any such release or statement.

You really must keep up.

I agree with what Trousers said. The club won't be scheduling a press conference ahead of telling the Stock Market about going into Administration.

Anyway don't the Echo get all their Saints exclusives from here?

IMHO it's still a question of when and not if we go into admin as I don't doubt Weston's sources are telling him.

No it is still a question of if rather than when but it is on a cotton string at present.

Thanks Weston - presumably it's going to be down to attendances over the next few weeks then. All of the other income and expenditure is going to be predictable and we can't sell anyone and next seasons ST's aren't for sale yet.

Saints VS QPR = high risk for crowd trouble? Any historic facts to back this up?

I always had this down as a pretty benign fixture supporter wise.

as i said before we are cat c home and away,im not sure of qpr's 'status' but there must be an element of risk with the qpr boys or they wouldnt have as many police on duty for the game.

historically there has been trouble (nothing too sinister) between both teams, not as much as other teams like millwall etc but probably enough to keep the old bill on their toes.

How on earth are we cat c home and away? The following at the away games I've been to has mostly been gobby little nobodys who only wrestle candy from babies.

On Tuesday the police were all over the Chapel for some reason?

Maybe a few derby fans got into the cheap seats was my thinking.

Amazing how threads suggesting administration by 13/3 was a certainty got 100's of posts and ranting replies

Whereas .....this one pointing out the reality gets far less interest

We are not in adminisatration

So the fight is now really on to keep us up! Starting today with with a home win to correct the shambles we all saw on Sky earleir this year !
