... now that we are all but relegated, we might as well have a bit of fun on the way, sing through the 90 minutes and promote the club to any prospective buyers sitting in the stands.

( To the tune of 'keep the red/blue flag flying high )

We'll never die, we'll never die,

We'll never die, we'll never die

We'll keep the Red flag flying high,

We'll never die, we'll never die.

Simple - effective, doesn't need any added lines etc.

My 'Not interested in ****ing my money up the wall for dull gutless passionless football' excuse still stands.

ring up your mates - say lets go for a pre match drinks and have a larf at the match.

If you have no mates ring up your Dad, brother, etc and say the same.

If you have no mates or family, take the neighbours lad to the match.

Who goes to watch the footy anyway? I go to get smashed and sing stupid songs.

It's not about the football, we are relegated, it is about giving us the best chance of investment and the best chance of having a team to watch next year.

Bought an extra ticket yesterday for my sons mate, there was about 10 people in the queue and people were steadily joining it but when I asked how many they had sold they replied 'there's loads left'.

With the 'kids for a quid' promotion you must be looking at least 25k surely?

I hope there is 25k

I have always thought, as someone who lives on the the edge of the Saints catchment area, that the club's marketing is poor. With 28,000 people in the area it could be a great source of supporters or atleast people's second club.

I bet very few people in Amesbury knew about the kids for a quid offer.

I'll be there tomorrow doing my bit, helping the club through its hour of need. This is only the second time in the club's 124 years history that it has been on the brink of going bust. Therefore, not going is not an option for me. I want my future generations to experience the lows and highs of supporting my club, to bleed red and white.

SOS

Can I take the neighbours daughter?

Throughout the season somebody in the Northam has started the red and white chant. It has resonated throughtout the ground and is not political and just a chant that the whole fan base will be comfortable joining in.How about it lads?Give it a try it shows a togetherness that we all can be behind, no politics no division and a lift to all involved.

Atmosphere seems to be better when we have 17-20k in the ground, not full of people who turn up for the cheap ticket prices.

If we Win, or are winning, it will be good. Should we go a goal down, we might rally for 10 minutes or so. Should we go two down, then.....

tbh if i didnt post on here i wouldnt have known about it.

i am a season ticket holder and you would think that the club would have sent an email or flyer to let us know that the offer is on,i dont go on the OS as it is sh1t so i dont bother with it.

somebody in the marketing department should have gone around to every school in a 20 mile radius and put up a poster,i know it is not everybodys cup of tea having thousands of kids in the ground but they would all be wanting drinks, food etc and all of the seats would have been full,i know they would only be paying a £1 but 10k kids would pay a couple of the players wages for the week.

Well alot of people don't sing 'Red and White' because of the tedious 'Barmy Army' which is included in the lyrics.

Barmy Army? Save it for cricket FFS!

The song is completely cringeworthy. Singing red and white sounds **** too.

Also, the £1 offer is for 16yo's and under, therefore not just the 6 to 13's usually associated with these type of offers.

who cares?... we need support to turn it round...

excuses just always come out

we have 2 home games maybe EVER...

and because we might not win or play good

your not going to go?

Thats right, and for the record I refuse to believe that nobody will come in to buy what is a 'premiership club' in waiting.

You are such a better fan than me though so I will bow down, in fact I might as well be a skate such is my shocking disregard for this club

Stu, I expect you to be seriously drunk when you go to tomorrows Saints game.

I bet you'll be in a massive state.. I can't blame you though

I will be drinking from 11am tommorow, a whole 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier than usual, so I will be 3 or 4 pints more ****ed than usual as well.

 that is the spirit.

I will be drinking from 12. I have got to be careful now due to my budgeting.

I will be at the game singing for the Saints.

What I will do is drink quite a few shots of vodka and some beers before I leave my house.. Then on to the pub, where I will drink quite a lot. easiest and cheapest way to get drunk.

I couldn't go to a Saints game in this scenario.. SOBER :/

In the games recently where it has been used I thought it brought the ground together singing, get it started Stu

In my experience people in Amesbury know very little about anything that is going on in the outside world

Agreed, it's been one of the loudest chants recently AND we seem to have dropped the "barmy army" bit.

i agree also, but do admit to shouting "barmy army" a few times last saturday #-o

jus hope we dont do the slow "saints come marching in" thing tomorrow.

can't stand it.i know the whole season has been like one long funeral march but do we have to sing like it

I thought the same about the slow OWTS earlier, but when the majority of people are singing it does sound awesome.

From a team perspective I agree, lets go out of the Championship with a bang. We can't ****ing defend...infact bar one season when Svensson, Claus and Niemi were the third best defence in the Premiership we never have. Lets go three at the back and just chuck the whole ****ing team at the Palace back four. What else have we got to lose? Our club? Oh! ;)
