sidthesquid Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Funny feeling today - not as sad as I should be - maybe because the inevitable has been just that for so long. Last game of last season I felt anger at the ineptitude of the players and a stomach churning fear that we really would go down. Now I feel a sort of calm acceptance with just a glimmer of hope that this is the darkest day

Hopefully, we are on the up again now.
Leslie Charteris Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Ormerod's scored for Blackpool, so if Forest lose and we win today the last game of the season could be very tasty indeed...

Dogs chance to start next season off scratch, if not -15 points and we play catch up,it is always darkest just before the dawn, but whatever happens I love my home City, I love my Club so Malwiney YOU CAN STICK YOUR POINTS REDUCTION UP YER ARSE SAINT TILL I DIE! Gingeletiss Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 All to play for........we must be out of the bottom three, so as the points deduction is effective this season, and we start L1 on a par with everyone else. Oops!!!!!!!!!!!! forgot:smt089 we are appealing, so maybe not](*,)

Arizona Posted 25 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Ormerod's scored for Blackpool, so if Forest lose and we win today the last game of the season could be very tasty indeed... And Dexter scored for Forest. Add to that I've just seen clips of Beattie, Fuller, Delap and Higgy keeping Stoke in the Prem on SSN. Also last night they were at the Leicester game and interviewing Matt Oakley and Nigel Pearson. I feel half delighted for these guys, but half sick that they're gone and doing much better elsewhere. Especially Oaks and Nigel who we could so easily have kept if it weren't for egos.

Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Blackpool down to ten... That's not good, we need Forest to lose. Otherwise we'll have to win by two or three next week to pass them.

Window Cleaner Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 I thought Gillet was out for the season, or am i missing something? Miraculous recovery from the same sort of injury as the one Thomas hasn't fully recovered from apparently. Dodgy doos methinks. Either you're out for the season or you ain't if he wasn't why say he was, hope we don't cause him permanent damage by playing him too soon, like we did with Pahars to name but one of many. We're down anyway, the Forest result means we'll be on -10 next season anyway so why risk Gillett when we could put Molyneux in for all it matters. saintjay77 Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 I thought Gillet was out for the season, or am i missing something? back in full training just a few weeks after his op and was available for today! seems a massive risk IMO
saintjay77 Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Surman will be left back ah good point. was only saying as its been put on the OS and didnt really look at who else is on the sheet. no skacel or moleneux or gobern so surman is prolly the only choice there. saint lard Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 Gillett's operation was a complete success hence he is fit way ahead of schedule. Surman will play left back. Lallana and BWP on the flanks,Gillett and Wooton in the centre.
