Petition to Mr Fry. Removal of the Doncaster Train Picture

I assume - please correct me if I am wrong - that the now infamous Doncaster Train Picture is still up in the boardroom?

May I suggest it is removed to a more suitable place - lavatory for example - and Lawrie Mac with the FA Cup in 1976 is put up in it's rightful place once more?

Whatever happens over the next couple of days I do not want my Club to die, or be resurrected, in the final boardmeeting under the shadow of the prime example of Lowe's pettiness and foolishness.

It's ... well .. embarrassing.

Anyone else want the Donny Train Picture removed to be replaced by memories of the happiest day in Saints history in living memory? Sign below.

Choo Choo!

Let's await confirmation on here... meantime... who's up for supporting Lawrie?

Train or legend? 33 years to the day that we won the cup...

Just heard from Doncaster and they state if we are going to take the piiiisss out of their lovely picture of the steam puffin billy and the wonderful gesture then...they want it back now.. Two minutes after passing this message to St Marys...Leon and Lawrie were seen outside the ground loading said picture onto a lorry which is now halfway up the M3 north bound.

Do you realise everytime you contact Mr Fry that you are costing the club money? He is justified is starting his clock everytime he gets another timewaster on the phoine or by e-mail.

If you believe that that frigging picture is important that's fine but many people have spent time collecting or donating tickets to help keep the club trunnung. If i had thought it was just to fund stupid requests of the administrators time i wouldnt have bothered.

My Fry doesnt care what his fees are charged for, he is a business afterall but perhaps the fans could use some common sense in what they are doing in making the club funds being wasted. Rant over i thank you

Nick seek treatment immediately. The stress and strain has got to you. I was worried for the last couple of weeks when we had the "fans are responsiible and should sell their houses and donate the money to the club".

Now you have flipped over the edge.

Take happy pillls as soon as possible

Did you donate money to pay Fry's fees or to help the CLUB stay solvent?

Did you check what your money would be used for before 'donating' it?

Do you have any right to chose how the money is spent once you have given it, anyway?

Do you have any right to criticise what other people would like their donations to be spent on?

i did my bit thankyou. If I had in any believed that some of it would be dispersed in fees to get the administrator to sort out a bloody picture in the boardroom I may well not have bothered.

Any money spent at present could send the club over the edge, taking the administrators time up is ridiculous about something very unimportant. we are close to foldng and are more worried about a picture than getting our priorities right IMO

If it helps nick...I have spoken to Mr Fry and he asked me to pass on his thanks for your continued support.:)..in blocking all these silly phone calls from some of us clowns.:smt117

He tells me that he has someone in the frame to give the picture of the train.

Mentioned Oxfam as a worthwhile charity....The sooner he gets this out the way he can concentrate on dealing with the matters in hand.;)

God hope Rupert does not come back....I can just see it a picture of The Flying Scotsman presented to Rupes from York City after they have made their first appearance at Totton Rec in The Conference and wacked the Mighty Saints 6-1.:(

I take it scudey you will not be buying my picture of the train when I am the winning bid on ebay?:D

My point of course being that it's pretty poor form to put a gift on ebay. And would be considered a big **** you to Doncaster. You lot seem to be forgetting the fact that the picture was never in fact the ownership of Rupert Lowe. It was a gift to Southampton FC.

But ultimately who really gives a ****? Not me that much is certain...

I am deadly serious about Prem league and Europe just have faith fellow top supporter.;)...FF will sort out the museum along with his volumes of further books about the rise and fall and rise again of the mighty Saints. Sounds like easter.:)

I know the risks in posting this, but... has this not really been taken out of all proportion. We all know Lawrie and LOwe dont get on, in fact cant stand each other... that their business. Dont think I would get on with either of them either.

What some see as Lowe slurring teh club by removing a picture of our greatest moment, if you remove the media spin, great copy and hysteria, its more likely that Lowe simply did not want a pic of Lawrie staring at him in the board room. - childish for sure, and pathetic undoutedly, but I doubt this was because he did not respect the achievement of 76 - just couldn't stand LM.

Just a question ... Why would Doncaster want to gift Rupert Lowe/SFC a picture of one of their trains? Nothing to do with Saints capitulating 1-2 to Doncaster, I'm sure....

Now that's downright silly. It's not as if Rupert Lowe would allow himself to be entertained by one of our key Championship rivals is it?....

Matt Oakley thinks the train picture should come down ;) (owned)

Mr Chump, I forgot to reply to you the other day!!! Don't worry, wasn't hiding from my humbling!

Well, I stand corrected to your post previous, apologies. It would appear that I had arisen from the woodwork once more to bite your ankles, but you've kicked me away with considered aplomb.

Still, I will remain your devils advocate forevermore. ;)

And I respect the good grace with which you've taken your humbling;)

Feel free to bite the ankles at any time, in fact it's quite enjoyable in a Malaysian fish foot spa type of way.:D
