saint lard Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Just checked it out,you are quite correct. All this posting stuff on Facebook,Marc Jackson was doing the same thing, really dosen't sit well with me. Changing the status' to give updates on progress of deals just dosen't seem right. Even the "Leon Crouch was happy to help out" status when he assisted financially, again i might add, seems to say "look at me everybody" All IMO. I do like his anti-Lowe comments, now they do sit comfortably with me.

Leon needs to work out if he is simply one of the fans or someone to be taken seriously with regard to any future role in the club. Personally, I prefer my directors past , present and future to keep their counsel until the time is appropriate for a press release. IMO it's a touch more professional than using social networking sites to feed the rumour mill. Pity Crouch is not able to rise above it.

Respect is earned and personally I prefer if people don't try to buy mine. Crouch may be able to dip into his pocket every so often but he hasnt got the money to run the club. And he has never (IMO) shown any kind of nous or ability to suggest he could run one well. Local business man yes, but football club chairman (let alone owner), no thanks. Well all leon did was get rid of the execs who were one of the reasons we went into admin and then all he did wrong was give a saints man in doddy a chance before bringing in a brilliant manager. Compared to lowe he gets a knighthood and bankrolled the cub.

If Leon Crouch was not removed last year with Pearson we would still bein the championship. Well done Leon for putting your money where your mouth is unlike the failed managament of Lowe and Wilde. Get back in charge? IMO he wasn't in charge of things the first time around. Very, very, worrying f he actually believes he can achieve it but the man has shown himself to be somewhat deluded with his aspirations in the past with regard's to club's the future so hopefully he is kidding himself once again. Did it mention a timeframe? 3 months, 6 months, 9 months? Premiership in 2 seasons to claim our righful place that we've held for less that 30% of our total existence. Jackson is accused of being delusional but at least he has the key to the cupboards so is clearly operating on something other than just Crouch like hope.
