At the moment I'd take Lowe as chairman with Branfoot as director of football and Wrigley as head coach. Anyone who would rather Saints ceased to be can frankly bugger off to PompeyMad where you belong.
-
Really feeling that feelgood factor now!
-
Well that's the wages paid anyway. Should buy us some time if it isn't all sorted today.

I want to believe but your past form is that of a WUM http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=334887#post334887

I did some digging around on season ticket prices last time this came up:
-
A touch optimistic - £300 quid is cheaper than most of the other clubs in League 1. Should be about right for a renewal price maybe.

I can't see why he would refer to Tony or Failka as the 'owner'. Add that to the change in body language from the Friday interviews. On Friday he - while still talking positively - seemed quite down about the whole thing as if he had lost faith in the enterprise. Saturday he was up for it again, and I'd put this down to his speaking with the 'owner' probably the real money behind this earlier in the day. I may just be reading into it more than there is, because I still would like Matt to be chairman, but I have more hope in teh Pinnacle bid now.
-
A couple of significant bits from Matt's interview on the BBC site: So confirmed that Fialka is only part of a group and strong implication that he is not the leader of the group. To my mind that restores a lot of the Pinnacle Credibilty that was lost when Fialka came forwards.

I want the Swiss in now - if only to save MLT from any further embarassment.

Who is Micheal Fialka, the propective new owner

As of December 2008: AFC Bournemouth Barnsley Boston United Bradford City Brentford Cambridge United Chesterfield Crystal Palace Leicester City Leeds United Lincoln City Luton Town Notts County Rotherham United Wrexham York City http://www.playthegame.org/news/detailed/premier-league-wealth-masks-football-league-poverty.html And you can add Stockport to that list and Saints if your name is Mawhinney. And Derby for that matter since the escape the list for the same reasons Saints should. I know they aren't all league sides any more but that's still around a quarter of football league sides. Something is ****ed.

So basically they can make up the rules as they go along?

Thats just really annoying, I was looking forwards to a nice day out Still doable for me (from London) but no time for a pre-match pint.
-
Perfect timing. The announcement coincided with me pondering what to get my QPR supporting God Daughter for her birthday. I'm not sure her parents would be to happy with me proposing to take her to the away end though - she's only one

Damn them I want to go home not sit in the office hitting F5!
-
I have no confidence left.

Figured that much out for myself ta Looking on Google Street Map it looks like the Gloucester Place address is quite small (Georgian Terrace, several names next to the door) so maybe either the Preston Office or some rented office space in London. Just wondered if anyone knew for sure where it was.
-
Any idea where this meeting is taking place? If it's in London I've half a mind to deck chair myself in the red and white on their doorstep tomorrow.
-
Main reasons for membership IMHO were being able to be sure of an away ticket sooner (and thuse planning ahead) and being able to use the online bookng. If they're losing membership then maybe they're finally opening up the online booking to everyone?

Okay it's friday. Give us some bloody news please otherwise my holiday is going to be spent obsessively looking for internet cafes.
-
Fair enough - it *might* have turned out for the best. But I'd hold off the rubbing people's faces in it until after we avoid relegation next year. After all administration could yet see us in League 2, that might just be a sacrifice too far.
-
I'm guessing they'll see what season ticket demand is like before making a decision. If it's down on last year then it can't possibly make sense to open the corners. If season ticket sales are up then open them one at a time as the demand dictates (and allow people who have bought tickets to relocate if they want to). So for people like Gudz it's Catch 22. If you and those like you don't buy a season ticket the corners definitetly won't be open.

McGoldrick is entirely the sort of player we need to be keeping, I hope he has the grace to stick around and see what happens when ******** completes *** takeover. One million isn't really a lot for a player like him, but I guess it comes down to how much ******* is willing to put into the club as to whether we keep him.
-
**** you Stanley. (infraction please Mods)
-
I give it 2 matches before the usual suspects on here start calling for him to leave. But at the moment I'm just so damned happy that it looks like we're going to have a club next season I don't care
