With United coming up, it brought me back to our superb and trophy deserving performance back in February at Wembley. With our current crop of players, we're capable of so much more than we're currently producing. I know it may be a frustrating watch for some, but this setup was perfect for Gabbiadini and players such as Redmond and Ward-Prowse looked like top Premier League players that day. Take that side and add the quality of Lemina and Hoedt and I know we can still challenge for 'best of the rest'. It's a shame we didn't strengthen more up front this summer but the current players just need that confidence and the right management to get them capable of beating sides like this. I hope Pellegrino is the right man to get us there...

It's a shame we're having to discuss who to shoe-horn into the attacking midfield roles. Should have sorted this over the summer.

Redmond is rubbish... So we might as well try something different.

Tempted to suggest giving Ward-Prowse a few games in that wide left role. Can't be any worse than Redmond was today. At least we'll get good crosses into the box. In fact, I do suggest it.

Still missing a playmaker.

That's a bad reason. Football is like that now. You'd need a new badge every couple of seasons!

Ward-Prowse is still searching for his best position I feel. I believe he'll come good but there doesn't seem to be a suitable role in the team for him at the moment.

I notice the Palace fans want him to come to their club looking at their forums.

I don't care what anybody says, he doesn't have the creativity Tadic does (I'm not saying Tadic is a great no.10 but he's the best we've got). Davis may be our most consistent player and our 'Mr. Reliable' but that's because he doesn't take the necessary risks to play that kind of role. Also a front two of Austin and Gabbiadini lacks any pace. Too easy to defend against especially if we're dropping Redmond/Boufal. Long may be that spark up front we're looking for. We were too slow last weekend.

Van Dijk has done nothing to deserve replacing Stephens or Yoshida.

Almost definitely. They can just use footage of the game to work our where he was sat and then find out who booked the seat.

Never forgave the fans that ran on the pitch at our last derby to give enough extra-time for an equaliser. No sympathy.

I really like our current crest. I like that it was designed by a fan, I like how instantly recognisable it is and I like the fact there's no other crest that shares the same basic shape as ours (that I know of). If it ain't broke, don't fix it as they say.

He's perhaps a little too laid back (solely judging by his interviews). He didn't seem angry enough after our last performance and even seemed to play it off as simply 'that's football'. It's been a recurring issue for us for a while now. He can't always be the nice guy and everyone's friend.

Well I mean that's a big reason why he left so it has everything to do with that.

Perhaps the couple of years after he left us was an afterglow and what the current board have been doing is starting to show?

I agree. Drastic changes to the line-up may be just what's needed to spark something.
