Great post. Couldn’t agree more 👍🏼

Didn’t think Bednarek had a great game yesterday. When defending deep he seems to struggle picking up runners in busy passages of play. Fitness is a big issue in 2nd half. We just stop pressing the middle of the park. Ralph has done wonders but he isn’t immune to criticism. He should have bought Diallo on sooner and try and regain control of midfield. When you start getting overrun there, you are inviting on to you shots and giving away possession. The inevitable is then reigning supreme. With Ings back, drop Walcott back to the right and keep Djenepo on the left. People like to pick on him, I thought Utd panicked whenever he got the ball yesterday. Also after coming off in last few games, we have conceded goals. With Redmond and a recently poor Armstrong on bench to call upon after 60 minutes, we should be able to match 2nd half performances to the first parts, as we have done so admirably for well over a year now! Moussa is amongst the most dangerous attackers in England!

On or off the pitch, previous experiences show us the value of partnerships. A big factor for Ralph feeling settled here has to be Martin Semmens. He has made clear reference to this on multiple occasions, thus far. As was the case for Poch with Cortese. With a potential takeover are we at risk of new owners bringing in their own guy(s)? Do we really want to rock the boat when we have such a good thing with Ralph and the forward thinking trajectory the club find ourselves on right now? He has proved that this current successful model isn’t relative to owner ploughing money in to the club. I like Gao for one very important reason. He doesn’t appear to take money out of the club. Kat clearly did and we all carried on looking up to her and smiling. Dutifully, from ear to ear. This DaGrossa guy can do one.

Blew a gasket. Mind you the reporter got a bit precious too. Interview was as entertaining as the game!

If anyone here thinks Ralph favours Stephens over Bednarek, they’re a bit thick really. Stephens is the worst centre back at the club. if we see that from a distance, Ralph knows that too as manager. -
Agreed Here are some stats for last season: Redmond 2768 minutes: 4 assists 4 goals Armstrong 1713 minutes: 3 assists 5 goals Djenepo 926 minutes: 2 assists 3 goals Will leave you to do the maths. Play Djenepo.

Leave it as it is

Was off the pace at start of season. But for last 5 or 6 games has been outstanding. Back to his best and a joy to watch

Is a real threat and unique in what he offers. Play home with Armstrong in the wide positions until Ings comes back. That flick to let Theo in was artwork

Bertrand for Stephens and then go again 👍🏼

Top of the league!! Dear God Almighty, i can’t stop looking at the table. Emotional times. Enjoy my fellow saints family wherever you might be in the world . It’s been a long time coming. Like Ralph said. “We are a serious team now!” up the saints ❤️

Keeps switching off. Can’t read the game. Last of the remaining weak links left in the squad.

I blame Kat the cow

I will tend to go with Blackmore over our forum experts. Reed was sly and at the time lots of us called out his evident games. The guy had one overarching ambition and that was to take his share of the healthy board profit.

Wouldn’t be overly upset losing him. Nowhere near the level Morgan, Wanyama and Lallana were when they left us. Replace him with that boy from Leeds. Kalvin Phillips.

“The whole key here is to have dry powder after those initial acquisitions are done to build world class teams at a time when not a lot of other people are investing. Thematically, it's all about playing offense when the rest of the world is playing defense.” -
