  1. Sorry to hear that. Meanwhile try and get your head around the sad fact that those involved in the crash are dead, there will be no match on Tuesday and the only person theorising and discussing whether it should be played is you. Just you.
  2. Quite. It's like complementing a team on a positive defensive performance against us: not difficult.
  3. When the news came through at 9pm last night - a helicopter crashed and exploded into flames minutes later - it was very obvious then that everyone was dead. A insignificant output of that was that Tuesday's match would be called off. Very, very obvious. No debate, no discussion. But this morning here you are spaffing on about what-if "everyone" involved is actually "absolutely fine" after all. It's like you are mentally ill or something. Stop typing and yes, this thread probably does need closing.
  4. What we don't know is anyone else involved - anyone not in the helicopter but caught up in the explosion. Rather odd people clinging on to an idea that everyone is fine because an official statement hasn't come out.
  5. Take a day off.
  6. Developing situation in Leicester that I guess could mean no game on Tuesday. Looks pretty bad.

    Hughes OUT

Get rid. The players haven't got the mental toughness and I can see us going down anyway but let's just see if someone else could do something with them. Keeping Hughes dribbling on until mid-February seems utterly pointless but no doubt that's precisely what King Les will do.
  8. I'm ready for the win cup/get relegated season.
  9. I think it's all steak and chips pre match, card school on the coach then a few pints post match and those towers of champagne flutes come midnight.
  10. Here's his van. Definitely been radicalised by Nancy Pelosi.
  11. Jesus wept.
  12. Which divisions would they be then? You're right about one thing: there's definitely no top six in Spain, Germany, France, Scotland, Holland, Italy, Portugal or Belgium.
  13. When Leeds won the league I think they would have described themselves as part of the big six, if it existed. Ditto Everton. Ditto Villa.
  14. I'm not sure that's a bargain that can be relied on to happen. We can drop down and stay down for 10-15 years, like Forest or Leeds or Bolton or Ipswich.
  15. Scientists have recently discovered the single most transparent substance in the known universe.
  16. Depends if Mike Ashley recruits Big Sam for the LOLS. I know I would if I was him.
  17. His record at Espanyol is pretty much what Espanyol achieve most of the time, forever. In his three full seasons, Pochettino's average finish, 11th. Before that, and after that, that's what they achieve/achieved. Sometimes 5th, sometimes 15th but usually 8th - 13th. Mid table La Liga team achieving mid-table finishes. Breathtaking stuff. Anyway I was making the point that he wasn't a manager that required a huge amount of "attracting". And happy to stand by that.
  18. We "attracted" Pardew and Adkins to take a step down, but hardly some amazing selling job to get them to come to the richest club in League One by a mile. And he wouldn't have needed to "attract" Pochettino, who was out of work after failing in his last role. I've no doubt he leapt at the chance, as he would have if it was Leicester or West Ham. Meanwhile, Koeman and Puel had both won the league somewhere and had extensive European experience.
  19. "Reshaped the supreme court". Jesus wept.
  20. Truly the end of a SFC webforum legend. Goodbye, mysterious non-saviour saviour. Briefly, we loved you and believed in you, even though you didn't have the faintest idea of who we were. RIP.
  21. Righto.
  22. Which would be just a smaller version of the Championship that the general punter wouldn't give a sh it about.
  23. I think Lawrie McMenemy did a brilliant job at Southampton Football Club. I don't want Lawrie McMenemy to replace Mark Hughes in 2018. #helpmeGlasgow #helpmeHeisingberg
  24. ....and here he is. It takes a particular kind of person to describe two straight promotions as "pulling the wool over people's eyes" but you really are a special little guy. Don't ever change x x x
  25. And currently bottom of the Championship. This is after also failing in his previous job (in league one) and failing in his job before that. Love the man, but his record makes Hughes look like Jock Stein.
