Which divisions would they be then? You're right about one thing: there's definitely no top six in Spain, Germany, France, Scotland, Holland, Italy, Portugal or Belgium.
-
When Leeds won the league I think they would have described themselves as part of the big six, if it existed. Ditto Everton. Ditto Villa.

Southampton's wretched home form a recipe for relegation

I'm not sure that's a bargain that can be relied on to happen. We can drop down and stay down for 10-15 years, like Forest or Leeds or Bolton or Ipswich. -

Depends if Mike Ashley recruits Big Sam for the LOLS. I know I would if I was him.

His record at Espanyol is pretty much what Espanyol achieve most of the time, forever. In his three full seasons, Pochettino's average finish, 11th. Before that, and after that, that's what they achieve/achieved. Sometimes 5th, sometimes 15th but usually 8th - 13th. Mid table La Liga team achieving mid-table finishes. Breathtaking stuff. Anyway I was making the point that he wasn't a manager that required a huge amount of "attracting". And happy to stand by that.
-
We "attracted" Pardew and Adkins to take a step down, but hardly some amazing selling job to get them to come to the richest club in League One by a mile. And he wouldn't have needed to "attract" Pochettino, who was out of work after failing in his last role. I've no doubt he leapt at the chance, as he would have if it was Leicester or West Ham. Meanwhile, Koeman and Puel had both won the league somewhere and had extensive European experience.

Truly the end of a SFC webforum legend. Goodbye, mysterious non-saviour saviour. Briefly, we loved you and believed in you, even though you didn't have the faintest idea of who we were. RIP.

Maybe we need relegation like we needed administration...

Which would be just a smaller version of the Championship that the general punter wouldn't give a sh it about. -
I think Lawrie McMenemy did a brilliant job at Southampton Football Club. I don't want Lawrie McMenemy to replace Mark Hughes in 2018. #helpmeGlasgow #helpmeHeisingberg

....and here he is. It takes a particular kind of person to describe two straight promotions as "pulling the wool over people's eyes" but you really are a special little guy. Don't ever change x x x

And currently bottom of the Championship. This is after also failing in his previous job (in league one) and failing in his job before that. Love the man, but his record makes Hughes look like Jock Stein.

I'm not saying Barniers options is May's personal proposal, just that they would be the same regardless. If it was Boris banging the table, or a Davis not "bounced" into everything the situation we are in now wouldn't actually be any different. Have Canada plusplusplusplusplusplus and knock yourself out. Still the issues with Ireland remain, and the various other issues connected that generally make Canada plusplusplusplusplusplus worse than the status quo. 100% agree on fudge, and it will get through Parliament because Tory MPs fear Corbyn and Labour MPs fear losing their majorities (and/or are leavers like Saint Jeremy has always been).
-
I thought David Davis was in charge of negotiations, then Raab - both campaigned for leave, Davis being a passionate leaver for his entire career. Plus May's red lines which she hasn't budged from (yet) are proper hard Brexit red lines. Not entirely sure where you think we'd be if we weren't "undermined by remain supporters" but I'd wager we'd be where we are now. Barnier's sliding scale chart would still apply as it has the entire freaking time.

Every single one of our problems would be over immediately if we just appointed Darren Moore but our board are simply too pig headed to do it.

He's our Darren Moore he is. #upandcoming #darren #moore #glassceiling

I think the main thing to remember at this time is that the Halloween displays are all out in the supermarkets and there are some absolutely massive family trick or treat packs out there. Like them bags you get a new duvet in, some of them. Something that will certainly give some people something to cheer.

Right now we could still be relatively attractive to a half decent manager: time to assess before January and plenty of games in the tank. Of course we won't make any change until mid-February when only fire-fighters and lunatics will want the job and come on everyone let's all get behind Chris Coleman and give him a chance. Thankfully I didn't fear the Championship last year and I don't now. Just get it over with.
-
We would have lost concentration at the restart and Chelsea would have cancelled out Ings goal before everyone had the chance to sit back down.
-
Just get him out before it's too late.

I don't care who we sign as long as it's four of them by noon on January 3rd.
