  1. Except, of course, the "this" that the Lib Dems "allowed" them to "do" was, like, the economic policy and direction of the entire country. And they get to run the nation's education. And the NHS. And foreign policy. And law and order and immigration, some bird called Theresa looked after that. And Justice. And pretty much everything. But, yeah, pupil premiums and Vince Cable got to go to China. That definitely means there was absolute no Tory government until 2015. Of course.
  2. Who was running the country and who was Prime Minister between 2010 - 2015 then? Dennis Skinner?
  3. What makes you think we won't have a pre-season home game? Like we have every single season since the dawn of time. I've got my crystal ball out and reckon it will be the weekend of 5/6 August. Just a hunch.
  4. You can suggest that, but it's nonsense. The Puel out thread has as many Puel in posters who obviously aren't going to post on the replacement thread, unless you expect them to type "Claude Puel" in every time anyone suggests a replacement. I think Puel should go but have no idea who should replace him. I'll see who is in the frame and then evaluate as the process develops. That okay with you? If not, I can only assume you identified and championed the appointment of Claude Puel from the very day Koeman resigned? Am I right?

The sword of truth has spoken.
  6. You what? Corbyn is and was pro-IRA, there's nothing to prove. It's just a fact as plain as the nose on your face. People like Mo Mowlam did what peace negotiators do - speak to people on both sides. Corbyn and gang did nothing of the sort, just chummying up to the IRA. McDonnell drooling over the bullets and bombs, hero worshipping the struggle against the evil empire. The history of the troubles and the peace deal is already written. Jeremy Corbyn isn't even a footnote. He's nothing.

Fair play for having the balls to post that utter horsesh it.

Just looked Wikipedia. Swiss second division? What a tragic waste of such beautiful hair.
  9. I'm still in the Brendandino Rodriguez camp.
  10. Corbyn should do the BBC debate this week. He'll do fine in it - he was in good form tonight - and it would humiliate May and the not-particularly likeable Rudd for 90 minutes prime time TV. Open goals: negotiating Brexit? She's too scared to speak to us. Social care? She's too scared to front up to you, the people. She thinks she's got it in the bag, arrogant evil Tories. Etc etc etc and so on. They'd be mad to send McDonnell in (a vote losing smarmy commie tw at) when Corbyn could actually claw a little bit more vote share out of it.
  11. Nah, he only played 40 times for us. What we want is a proper bona fide living club legend like Garry Monk. He only ever played five games but what games they were.
  12. That was the only one I didnt need to google. They bailed on their plans when they realised that even winning the flipping league doesn't really change anything with regard to core demand. No planning permission, no nothing.

It would be an utter clusterfu ck of an appointment. I'd take Puel all day over Monk who has basically done eff all as a manager - a glorified honeymoon period with another managers team at Swansea and then failure at Leeds. He played a handful of matches for us and that seems to make some people think he has some kind of spiritual home here. Would be a dreadful appointment. Bizarre people slagging Puel are getting wet for a failed Championship level manager.

We're going to Wembley next season, mark my words.
  15. Bournemouth expanding to 14k capacity any year now. How we will compete with that I'll never know. http://mobile.afcb.co.uk/news/article/south-stand-afc-bournemouth-stadium-expansion-plans-3012635.aspx
  16. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3470822/crystal-palace-plans-for-selhurst-park-redevelopment-are-being-held-up-by-sainsburys/ Palace tied up in red tape and surrounding landowners who are thwarting them pushing ahead to expand to 32,000. But they will leave us behind when that's built after countless years of planning wrangling no doubt about that.
  17. http://m.stokesentinel.co.uk/work-to-start-on-major-bet365-stadium-expansion/story-30089470-detail/story.html Stoke are doing it. They are pushing ahead. They are doing it now. THEY ARE EXPANDING. NOW. Next season they will have a capacity of THIRTY THOUSAND. FUUUUUU CCKKKKK. We are getting left behind.
  18. https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2017/04/11/west-brom-chief-executive-hopes-to-expand-hawthorns/ In a few years, hopefully, if things carry on as they are, maybe West Brom might expand their ground to maybe, hopefully 30,000. In three or four or five years they'll start thinking about it. Pushing ahead they are. We're getting left behind.
  19. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/11/watford-seek-to-increase-vicarage-road-capacity-to-30000/ Watford expanding to an eye-watering thirty thousand capacity. Pushing on they are. We're getting left behind. Left behind.
  20. What are Leicester doing then? There was a bit of chat about them expanding before they won the League but I don't think they've actually done anything. Hardly pushing ahead. And all those other clubs have smaller attendances/capacity than we do. WE'RE GETTING LEFT BEHIND!! LEFT BEHIND I TELLS YA!!
  21. Utterly ridiculous line of questioning from Paxman, playing into Corbyn's hands. All in all Compo did a decent job.
  22. Corbyn so far tonight: officially not sh it. Doing okay.
  23. It's not really a fairy world, is it? It's called Stoke.
  24. While that is true, is also suggest those people won't be outraged and take to the the streets if we did sack Puel. The majority want him out. I don't think there is any constituency of fans that are mad, passionate Puel fanatics that would hate to see him go. Or if there is, it's a tiny proportion. Which is part of the problem - he truly is the most nondescript manager we've ever had. Even Poortvliet had a jolly charm and Wotte was arrogantly hateable. Puel - nothing.
