People should not delude themselves that people buying a new home kit means they actually like it. We've got a geezer running a protest page on facebook who already said he's buying one. And I think you'll find no one on this forum has said we won't sell many. Obviously we will, but we would for any design.

Maybe encourage your facebookers to post photos of them in their newly bought shirts on your page: this will reassure you and the club that SFC will not be damaged by this protest. Obviously start with a pic of yourself in it. Or even better a picture of you thumbs-upping in the queue to the megastore.

It's very sweet that you are trying to make out that Saints fans who would quite like us to wear red and white stripes are some kind of vocal minority. Very sweet indeed.

Sales figures aren't the true measure because the purpose of our kit is not just to sell replicas of it. This is not Mattel funding the Masters of The Universe TV cartoon entirely to sell He-Man figures and Castle Greyskull playsets.

Frank is a nutcase and can't seem to separate buying a replica shirt and having an opinion on our kit. Some, like me and many others, are never ever going to buy a replica shirt. Even if I think it looks brilliant. Some people buying a shirt doesn't make it popular. And you can have an opinion on it without any intention of buying the thing. It's our shirt. Not just a piece of clothing for sale.

Welcome to Frank's fantasy land, everyone. For what its worth, I'd say this forum is an excellent representative sample of Saints fans, especially for something like a poll on a kit. If nothing else it is the largest and best sample available. The same sample ran a poll on Cortese stay/go not that long ago. The stay votes were in the 90%s as I remember....obviously not representative at all Frank.
