I'll tell you what COULD happen. A team who throughout the entire season have been in no danger of going down whatsoever will continue to be in no danger whatsoever and not go down.
-
West Ham can stay up with maybe four more points from nine games. They could stay up without winning another single game. Them getting less than that would represent one of the worst runs of form in all time Premier League history. Yeah, right in the mix they are. Up to their necks in it. This forum is breathtaking it its utter retardedness.
-
Clearly didn't "do nothing" at Leicester. Let's see if MP can get anywhere near what MON did.
-
The majority view on this forum ahead of three of those games was Saints win in all of them, with fury that Lawrenson refused to tip us to win v Norwich and QPR. Everton was more mixed. But nine from four if you discount Everton.
-
I think you'll find this is what most of the spanners on here expect the likes of Mark Lawrenson to predict for us. And you will have found sizeable numbers on here predicting victory for Saints ahead of all those games. Funny how it is suddenly unrealistic to expect Saints to win when anyone not predicting wins in those games would have been branded a negative wrist slitter at the time.

Nine points out of eight which is, like, so amazing when compared to the previous out of his depth country bumpkin cliche ridden scouse moron we had in charge. I mean who on earth would ever have predicted we could ever get that many points (NINE!) from so few games (8!) under that previous bloke. Simply would never, ever have happened. Frankly, Cortese did that scouser a massive favour by sacking him and making him kind of famous for basically doing nothing except winning an absolute fu ckload of football matches for us and getting promoted twice in succession. But apart from that nothing and he was out of his depth rubbish and god bless "the project" we're on now. The players that Pochettino has created from scratch like this Rickie Lambert and Morgan Schniederlin are amazing and its outrageous that both of them aren't in the England squad after what he has done with them. We are going to finish tenth and West Ham are as good as relegated.

Newcastle were in the "being sucked into it/sliding down the table/etc" gang when we played them (possible below us even, can't remember). Suddenly fiersome opposition in retrospect. Your claim that you "doubt many would have predicted" nine points from eight suggested you thought that total was something out of the ordinary when in reality not too different from the previous 8/9/10 games under the previous manager. Which I think is the jist of this thread. And nice try but I've been confident in us staying up all season too, long before we changed manager.
-
You're making out that nine points from eight games is some stunning achievement. It's pretty much relegation form.
-
He always says some shi t about hoping we don't qualify for every single tournament but will still go apesh it if we drop any points at all during qualifying.
-
He's got a contract. What are you talking about? I think you'll find this is all part of a "project" to land European football. Not my opinion. From Cortese. That would be a massive improvement in my eyes, if not yours.
-
So qualifying for European competition wouldn't be a "massive improvement" then? You're hard to please.
-
Did we go for Michu? Not sure there is anything out there to back that up.

Good posters that don't bother any more and you can see why!

You can still post "anything you want" but I think the rest of us are allowed to reserve the right to dismiss you as a faux-insider bullsh itter. -
For something that is apparently so easy, our friend seems to find it completely impossible to name a single contributor to this forum (who isn't a supporter of a rival team) who is "dead set against Saints improving". Could it be, just maybe, that these people don't exist at all, except for in the ditzy little head of Tamesaint?
-
From Wes Tender. You comedy genius.
-
Maybe try and come up with your own gags then. Keep trying sweetheart.
-
As I said. Absolute fairyland stuff. No one here is dead set against Saints improving. No one.
-
Jesus Christ. Care to name a single person on this forum who "objects to the club progressing". Just one name. Fairyland stuff.
-
My post wasn't about judges. It was about pri cks on here. Like, say, you.
-
No one objects to the club progressing. No one. Not a single person. Understand?
-
Bet they weren't. And your inference here that St Mary's is as useless to us now as The Dell was to us back then is effing retarded. What do you get from grizzling about what we currently have which is an excellent modern football stadium many clubs would kill for. Get some perspective.
-
I imagine the judge will take the Saintsweb approach of demanding "evidence, where's the evidence" before recieving some evidence which is immediately disregarded because he doesn't like it. And the next day, repeat the process.

Amusing article on Lambert and Lallana (from a Hammer)
CB Fry replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The guy writing the article used the phrase "pigs might fly" so he doesn't think it reasonable or likely. It's just mongboarders on here going apoplectic. Well done divs, you have excelled yourselves with this one. Next week: this forum pompously rips to shreds three lines of anti-Lallana abuse written on a toilet door in a pub in Havant. -
Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
CB Fry replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
What? again. They haven't been free from struggling but neither have they spent the money we have, and we haven't been free from struggling. What's your point? And why are you on about grammar when I've not mentioned it? -
Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
CB Fry replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Yes. If either of those had spent 12m on Gaston Ramires people like you would be sneering at what a flop he has been for them.
