The only result that anyone should want is a replay. Total f ucking carnage.
-
It's probably all to do with keeping our payments to agents down to a minimum which is infinitely more important than signing players we actually need in positions where we are short. Well played Saints.
-
Don't forget West Ham are going to drop like a stone now they are playing all the big teams. The forum said so.
-
Pretty good now we are in the Prem, although Norwich was a bit dodgy. As we're playing Liverpool on Saturday I'd imagine there will be loads of good quality streams out there. If you can handle pop ups everywhere, it's good.
-
I vote for corndogs and renaming the stadium Huckerbee Fields or something.
-
He'll be in the jungle with Ant & Dec next year at this rate.
-
It was called "Solent Green". Which only in later years did I realise may have been a tribute to Soylent Green, albeit a weird in-joke tribute from someone on the design team. I had that kit though. Great stuff. Oh, and this years kit is easily the worst of all time. Utter, utter sh it.

We need O'Neil to lose it and walk out on Sunderland, preferably on the 1st February. All we can do is stay in the mix which we will do because we can score goals. 17th would be just fine this year.

What's the biggest factor in our recent turn around?
CB Fry replied to Cheam Saint's topic in The Saints
Sorry no. This argument only counts when we are totting up all the Premier League megapowers we've had to play in the opening weeks. You know, like West Brom. -
'ex saints and england legend' persona non grata
CB Fry replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
Errr..no one is denying that. But Saint Clark is right. It's probably David Armstrong. -
He is a **** but in fairness it won't be. They need 32-34 points from 25 games which is a massive upturn in form. Harry could win his first three in a row and probably still be in the bottom three. I hate him but keeping them up now would be amazing.

Well having just read it, I am perfectly happy with what I said on this thread eighteen months ago. Bang on, as usual. Good old me. Do I win?
-
Rickie on the bench? **** it, I've had enough, Adkins out.
CB Fry replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Oh I Don't know, you seem to be still p i s s*ing your pyjamas over the comments some howwible posters said about Jos when we signed him nearly eighteen months ago,and trawling the forum for posts from ten weeks/18 months ago to make half arsed points. ....If that aint top class bedwetting I don't know what is. Waaaaaaaaah But you're right. Jos was outstanding for four and a half minutes yesterday. Proved everyone wrong he did. Well done you. -
Jesus Christ Canada Saint. Get a freaking life.
-
Yeah, sure. Team achieves first clean sheet in thirteen games. They must be something real special, Alan? Our back five deserves a mention on MOTD when they've got five clean sheets in a row, and not before.
-
We're still below a point-a-game meaning we are very much in a relegation scrap and we're likely to be for the rest of the season.
-
Great performance one to eleven, and what a relief to get a clean sheet at last. Well done Nige.
-
Go on, who? Name them and we can then check that yes, they want Adkins out and RDM in right now. Or we'll find out if you are being a bit of a drama queen. All I can see is people discussing RDM as an option IF there was a vacancy.
-
Has anyone on this thread even said we should replace Nige with RDM? In a word, no. But Adkins may still get sacked. And that will be zip to do with this forum. Sent from my GT-I9100P using Tapatalk 2

This. My number one choice if Adkins gets the elbow. However I think RDM's stock may be too high for us - I think he's likely to get offers from bigger/richer clubs, esp in Serie A. He won the CL FFS. All depends on how much he wants to stay in England I guess.

They'll be waiting to hear "all the facts". "All the facts", of course, are on the official website. And nowhere else.
-
When we were mainly in the premier league? Yes? And the idea our decline to League One started at a jolly convenient ten years before Pardew started is not, lets be clear, a FACT in any way whatsoever, it's what is known as your OPINION. So attributing your own opinion as fact is what this forum is famous for and, jees, you are very good at it. FACT.

Can I check whether Newcastle are defined by the mongboarders as a top six side (based on last season) or a bottom half side based on where they are now? Just want understand as we all know West Brom are now officially a top six megapower on the back of twelve games so presumably it works both ways and Sunday is now a game we are allowed to think we can win?
-
I'd call it Saints are absolutely nothing like Oxford United, Luton Town or Wimbledon, never have been, never will be. We were the worst team for winning because of decades and decades in the top flight, a situation mosts fans would kill for.

Nige is great but don't tell me that Redknapp and Big Sam haven't or wouldn't do similar. Nige was glad-handing a few kids and families. Hardly the pinnacle of self sacrifice.
