Agreed, I am fed up having to go through pages and pages to find out if anything has changed. This sheds a new light on the deal, or non deal as it maybe. Tells me something right from the off. I also think we will not be signing Maynard now anyway, but the Burnley dude!

I like Claridge, never used to, but he really does praise Saints and calls them a big club very often. Yes his heart is in the Skates camp, but he knows the score and anyone can see we are streets above the Skates on and off the field!!

Think he probably knows that he cannot cut it at the top anymore, but the ego and upsetting the balance of the team would be my worry. The current squad all work well for each other and there seems to be a great team spirit. I have no doubt that he could do a great job in the NPC though.

Ok Ok I know this has been posted elsewhere, but I have been through the 10 pages, and I cannot find the old thread. I am not one to start rumours as I cannot see the point of it, but Beattie was out and about in Southampton tonight, and the romour is he is looking for a return! He would love to come back. What is happening with him, is he still on the books at Blackpool on loan, or has he returned to Rangers? Rangers played this lunchtime, so he made a pretty sharpish return to the south coast! If he is still at Blackpool then they are playing tomorrow. Weird one but I think he is out of favour or injured as does not seem to be in any Rangers or Blackpool squads. Seems a waste when he could do a job for us in this league. The way things are going at the moment perhpas we should continue to move forward with Brand new signings and no egos?

They are coming more into this. I would not be suprised if they created a couple of chances as they are at home. We need this second I think or a 1-1 is on the cards.
