I'm in this camp:- Identify your targets and decide what you think they are worth As soon as the window opens get bang on the case If the selling club take the **** then move on, if not then buy Simple really

He was rumoured to be going to spartak Moscow for €15m in the summer so I'm guessing they want at least that if not more......probably the sticking point.
-
You know me,I just clap my hands politely and shout bravo
-
I always used to carry at least 2 sometimes 3 pairs of boots with me when playing football and used to know within a minute of the warm up which boots to wear and I only ever played senior football so I'm sure a premiership footballer should know what type of stud/blade is best suited to a pitch??
-
Yes never really understood the watering thing unless the pitch is dry and hard,I didn't see the sprinklers yesterday but I didn't get in the ground until 5 minutes before KO. Also the pitch didn't seem to cut up that much so I'm guessing its wasn't that wet......perhaps it is down to wrong choice of boots?
-
Yes remember them, big Q on the side......didn't lineker endorse them at some point?
-
Ha ha that brings back memories,I also had the adidas beckenbauer I think they had orange studs.......as cool/gay as it got
-
He didn't have a shot to save today and its a good job he didn't because he was awful,he had a shaky start and he worried me every time a ball was passed back to him,his kicking was awful but to his credit he did improve and his throwing was good but I'm positive he is not the answer to our problems.......he just didn't look interested.
-
Yes lambert slipped at a crucial time today when he had a decent opportunity to shoot
-
Far too many players slipping tonight some at crucial moments Is it down to the pitch or down to a poor choice of boots by the players?
-
I agree, but are these the players they want to sell?.......I'm guessing there will be a long list of over paid players they would love to unload but are not coveted by other clubs
-
Any player that chooses to play for QPR over us is obviously not doing it for footballing reasons so why the hell would we want any player like that, anyway QPR have to sell before they buy as their wage bill is through the roof and Harry knows it,his biggest challenge is not getting the players he wants but getting rid of the lazy mercenaries who are just going to sit out their contracts and rake in their inflated wages......... Good luck with that arry.
-
Happy new year to everybody on here,we may not always see eye to eye but at the end of the day we all want the same thing COYR
-
Just go with the flow, arsenal are on fire,we are not expected to get anything from the game,we can't hold onto a lead but can score goals so just sit back and enjoy for it what it is,a lopsided game of football that should produce plenty of goals.....hopefully we can get something from it if they have an off day but don't hold your breath.
-
Steve Moran and mark wright weren't very good at getting in the air, they were prevented from getting on that flight from Sweden in the 82/83 season
-
I blame 'progress' for ****ing up football in general, how I long for the days of the 70's /80's when things were a bit simpler, all clubs were more or less equal and money had not infected the working class game.
-
Yes,I think he would be an idiot not to,when money talks young talented players listen and I imagine AOC has been in his ear about how rich he's become. I don't agree with it but that the way football is,money comes first I'm afraid.......what would you do?,stay at a club that pays peanuts and will most likely struggle and get relegated or go to a club that will be competing for honours and make you a millionaire? He may not play as much football but that will give him plenty of time to count his money.
-
Would have taken the point before the game but that feels like a loss.....reading winning is a blow as well
-
I think it will definately go down to the last game of the season,I don't think Harry will save QPR,I think reading will get a new boss in the next few weeks and will pick up a bit of form and I would like to see villa in the mix a bit more but our chances of staying up are not as good as some think. We will see how serious NC is about staying up depending on the business that is conducted in January, the first thing I would do is get Luke shaw on a decent contract and give puncheon the deal he deserves.
-
Regardless of what a lot of you think about the academy, the club see it as just another income stream so having a theo, bale, oxo every couple of years is the aim.......Luke shaw being the next player in line to be sold. The academy costs a fortune to run so it has to pay for itself and exciting attacking players attract the biggest fees to cover the bills.

Next five games where will the points come from?
lordswoodsaints replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
I can see a minimum of 2 points from those games and a maximum of 4 if we can beat villa which is not impossible but it is a difficult run of games, perhaps if we could bring in a couple of signings early in the window rather than leaving it until a minute before it closes might help our cause and get another couple of points on the board. But getting players in early seems to be a bit of a novelty these days. -
So far has Ramirez been good value @14 million?
lordswoodsaints replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Although gaston came to us surrounded with a bit of hype (I have to admit I'd never heard of him) he hasn't really lived up to that hype or his price tag and has been average at best. He has shown flashes of what could be but not enough to justify his full 90 minutes in the last few games. I'm sure he will come good but I fear we probably won't see the full repertoire of his abilities and I suspect he was probably bought as an investment rather than a long term commitment. All IMO of course. -
No not jailbroken,I'll try what Glasgow suggested thanks anyway

Thanks I'll give it a go
