They are there for the taking and I would be extremely disappointed if we didn't get something from this game but would have to be a big improvement from us after the Sunderland game.

IMO there are a lot of average players in the prem going for stupid money and demanding good wages and what's even more stupid is the clubs that are prepared to pay for their services. Bad players are getting the nod just because they cost a lot of money or have some stupid clause in their contracts,and I've always said that the players have too much power and this needs to be taken back from them and given back to the clubs. Even though the prem is awash with more money than when we left it a few years back,the standard of football has gone down and IMO no team is unbeatable and in reality we have nobody to fear if we get stuck in. Even though it is refreshing to see WBA,Norwich and Swansea doing well it just highlights the poor standards of the so called big clubs and can only help our goal of staying and competing in this so called best league in the world. If I had to pick a premier league player of the season now then I would go for Fellaini who cost a miserly £15m compared to some of the overpaid,overpriced pieces of sh!t that kick a ball in the prem.

Tbh even if we had £100m to spend I doubt we would be able to attract the right players needed due to a combination of our league position,unfashionable club/manager. And the parent clubs reluctance to release players in January. I also expect that we won't be breaking the bank on wages just in case we get relegated and are then lumbered with a huge wage bill ...... So expect lower league players for around the £2m mark or loans. I expect our biggest signing to be Jason puncheon.

This ^ Too much of a diver for me,he's obviously got talent but I don't think we will ever see the best of it. If I had to judge him on today's performance alone then I would have to say a complete waste of money but overall he's been average with a few glimpses of skilful talent.......must do better.

You are right,they didn't accept offers as the deal was pulled at the last minute but the offer was there and it was £4m I now also believe that because the deal was pulled it led to sharp going to forest.

I always said that there has to be a cutoff point when NC says enough is enough if Adkins wasn't able to turn it around,but although he has managed to pull us away from the bottom and we are heading in the right direction there is still an immense amount of work to do to get us to safety.

Thought he had a good day today but he seems to shoot too often from bad positions and doesn't pull the trigger when in good positions.....still not convinced by him and I think we probably paid £5m too much for him.

No,I don't need the attention and the other stuff is either not that relevant,been discussed before or stuff that is just not that interesting but what I will tell you is saints wanted £4m, Brighton wanted to pay £3m and they stalled on an improved offer,when they eventually made a counter offer NC pulled the plug on the deal. Now I don't really care if you believe it or not as it makes no difference to my life at all but I suggest you do you homework before judging people.
