Spoke to Nigel Adkins once when we were in league one. He was exactly as he seems, plenty of cliches but hugely positive and friendly.

Ralph back to his early season form, team selection and setup all over the place. Played into their hands. Was sat 3 rows from the back, miles away from the pitch. **** day all round.

Romeu was excellent at Palace. Certainly too early to write him off.
