Surely we ain't bad/naive enough to throw away yet another lead?
-
Desperately need to get a run of 3 or 4 wins on the bounce going very soon.
-
Does alright at small clubs with small expectations but give him a job at a big club with a big fanbase and he would crumble under the pressure. Looked clueless at Leicester. COYFR

What about Hammond?
-
I actually thought Bale looked a better prospect when he was with us (although probably becuase we saw a full season of him). Theo seems a good kid and just shows that being bought up the right way can make a big difference. Now needs to get a run of games until the end of the season so he can get on the plane to South Africa.

Great to finally win, individually we probably have the best starting 11 in the league but still alot of improving to come as a team which will come with time. Davis - 7 - Dealt with everything that came his way. Thomas - 6 - Solid before coming off with yet another knock. Harding - 7 - Easily a Championship player. Trotman - 6 - Bit clumsy but good enough to deal with what they offered. Jaidi - 8 - Exactly what we've been crying out for in the last 3 years, absolute rock. Lallana - 6 - Average, not a left winger. James 6 - Average, not a right winger. Hammond - 8 - Good on the ball, mobile and strong in the tackle. Very impressive. Schneiderlin - 6 - Not at his best but didn't need to be. Saga - 6 - Not getting the breaks in and around the box but plenty of effort. Lambert - 8 - In the Beattie mould, wins everything in the air and put away the pens superbly. Mills - 6 - Should start wide left, offers natrual width and good delivery from set plays. Waigo - 6 - Lively but raw, covers the ground very quickly but needs time to adapt. Wotton - 6 - Bought on to break up play and did just that.

Exactly, them and Tranmere are surely the weakest in the league. Anything other than a comfortable 3 points next week would be embarrasing.

One of the toughest games of the season on paper out the way. Decent point.

Papa in the 80th minute is my prediction. COYR

Apparently he stood up and said enough is enough to Lowe and Wilde during our horrendous run last season. Soon after he was gone.
-
The winner against Norwich was the craziest I have gone at St Mary's, just edges the last minute Crouch penalty against the skates.

I don't care. He is God.

Live Deadline Day Transfer Rumours from Daily Echo
Mr Saints replied to ruddick's topic in The Saints
Yes, exactly. I saw that earlier and thought to myself 'I've seen that story 15 times in the last 2 seasons.' -
Got Talksport in on the background and an agent is a guest on the show, just heard him say 'Marek Saganowski' so I assume they were talking about him going elsewhere. Anyone hear it? I'm only half listening.

League 2/Conference size club and fan base. Although their manager looks quite handy.
-
Delldays, I can see your point but if you are hinting at yet another managerial change then you are deluded. Someone else to come in would want to bring their own staff and players and that means more time to 'gel' which in our position would be suicidal. Pardew is the best man for the job, in our position he is the best we could of possibly hoped for. People are still mentioning Strachan and Keegan but forget it, it ainit going to happen.
-
How the hell you can still be positive after throwing yet ANOTHER lead away and without winning all season in the league is beyond me.
-
Glad Rasiak has gone. Schneiderlin was the best player on the pitch against Millwall for 45 minutes. Apart from that, he's flattered to deceive.
-
Sounds better. Just need to play at this tempo week in week out in the League.
-
He is the man for the job. It's just so so so depressing being bottom of league 1 by a long way.
-
At this rate, I would be happy with a bottom half finish above the relegation zone. Depressing, why the **** can't we defend a lead?

Saints 1-1 Brentford - 2nd half chat (Harding '73)
Mr Saints replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Double change. Mellis and Paterson off. Thomson and Saga on. -
Now even more delighted that Dutch farce is all over.
-
6ft 2 and a centre back. Finally!

Should be given this season and next season at the least to put his stamp on the club.
