  1. SFC not for sale - RKruger
  2. JRod & MS deffo not leaving, looking fwd to adding to the squad
  3. If anyone gets on-air please ask him: Are Vic and Nat staying? Are Jack and Jose getting new contracts? Are we paying Osvaldo? Cheers
  4. Did he actually say this or are you taking the mick as he's expected to come out with this kind of meaningless waffle?
  5. did we actually table a bid for him? I don't think we were seriously interested.
  6. erm, FFP regulations limit the wage bill. If we went over £52m last year we are limited to annual increases of £4m plus new commercial revenue.
  7. That would have worked if we purchased our incoming players up front or traded one in one out, but now we are in a position of having to pay inflated wages just to get mediocre in, on top of inflated transfer fees due to our desperation.
  8. erm, Hull are in Europe.
  9. CB, you do realise that anyone we buy for £10m will have a real value of £5m and we'll have to pay top salaries to attract them. If I were Vlaar I wouldn't consider this gig for a penny less than £80k a week. Les better get a bulk order of lube.
  10. I will concede your main point that industrial economics has stripped football of being a competitive sport, but we really didn't have to send Krueger half way round the world to hawk a crocked JRod. We are in the position now where our talented players who remain will be asking their agents to move them on so they can rescue their careers.
  11. I will never wash my hands of Saints BUT: I will never allow anyone in my family a Barclays bank account (I don't live in the UK) I will never allow anyone in my family to drink Carlsberg (no loss there) I will never allow anyone in my family to pay for Sky (zona.ru) I will never allow anyone in my family to pay for BT Sports (zona.ru) I will never allow anyone in my family to buy Nike goods (Puma for my kids) I will never allow anyone in my family to buy EA Sport (play with a ball, not a computer) I will never allow anyone in my family to buy Topps cards (WTF is this?) Basically, I'll boycott any Premier League sponsor.
  12. I cannot see RK staying. Having the entire team sold from under you is one thing, but having it done in such a fashion that makes buying replacements all but impossible is another.
  13. she isn't a business person, so it does fit.
  14. who do we know that are not just old, but very old and have enough money to buy the club? The Queen.
  15. We'll have to pay £5m above market value for every player we sign, and we will need 9 by the time Les has finished destroying the club. We will also have to offer them top 6 wages, we are in a relegation dogfight before the seasons started.
  16. .....and we will have to offer ridiculous wages for players willing to do a salvage job.
  17. Offloading players at £15m below their value? If true, what could possibly be the driving force behind such a decision, its got to be a first in footballing history. Never a dull moment being a Saints fan, eh!? FFS
  18. We've rejected a Cardiff bid for Fonte!
  19. I support Shaktar Donetsk
  20. We will have to pay £3-5m over the top on every player as the whole footballing world knows we are more than desperate and have a £100m kitty.
  21. Gone: Guly, Unassigned Players, Released Adam Lallana, Liverpool, £25.0m Rickie Lambert, Liverpool, £4.0m Luke Shaw, Manchester United, £27.0m Dejan Lovren, Liverpool, £20m Callum Chambers, Arsenal, £16m Dani Osvaldo, £??, MIA Going: Morgan Schneiderlin, £??, Spurs Jay Rodriguez, £??, Spurs No contract: Jose Fonte, £??, Jack Cork, £??, Why stay?: Gaston Ramirez, £??, Victor Wanyama, £??, Artur Boruc, £??,
  22. Think of poor old Victor Wanyama, returns from International duty and everyone has scarpered. If I were him I'd be having serious conversations with my agent.
  23. Guly, Unassigned Players, Released Dani Osvaldo, £??, Never coming back Adam Lallana, Liverpool, £25.0m Rickie Lambert, Liverpool, £4.0m Luke Shaw, Manchester United, £27.0m Dejan Lovren, Liverpool, £20m Callum Chambers, Arsenal, £16m I count 7 out the door, maybe they are adding players on loan to that as well.
  24. I thought both Cork and Fonte were offered 2 year contracts?
