Really depends on your use case, they both have pro's and cons and you should choose based on what you want to accomplish. AMD is traditionally the cheaper end of the market, but their latest high end offerings are made for the very latest games. Intel have greater support, generally have better performance across the range and better power consumption. It all depends what you want it to do.
