That's the problem, they cannot find anyone cheap enough, with sufficient potential to offer a return in the striker position. Personally, I would go for a hired gun like Cavani (if he could be tempted $$$$).
-
It's not that we left it too late, we simply cannot afford a striker. The PR dept plants stories as if we might buy someone, but there is never any true intent.

Peraud always looks good going fwd but when he needs to track back he seems to not find the same gears

Great player, never heard of him. Hope he scores more frequently than Che.

We will not score, they have the best GK in the league with 12 Clean Sheets to his name, and only conceded 10 this season. 82% save percentage, compared with Bazunu's 58%, who has conceded 34 in the league. https://footystats.org/players/republic-of-ireland/gavin-bazunu https://footystats.org/players/england/nick-pope -
McCarthy Lyanco - DCC - Salisu - KWP JWP - Lavia -Alcaraz Djenepo - Mara - Orsic i would start with this in the next game

I gave up reading that when it said we won on penalties against Lincoln -
Potter is failing very well with better players, I don't think we could help.

Well, the 2 cup games were free hits, and he's smashed it out the park. It definitely looks as though his system is getting across to our players. If we manage to keep this up, or miraculously improve upon it, then I'll be eating Humble Pie for the rest of the season. Well done to all at SFC.
