still strikes me as a very weird way of doing things that we bring in 3 players in the summer none of which are now first choice, and danso in particular hasnt even got a sniff at playing cb,, i mean is ralph getting final say on these transfers id have thought thats the way.. if not seems a weird lack of communication somewhere along the line like why waste important transfers on guys the manager isnt going to use? and if he did ok them why ok signings you are not that impressed by? all seems very weird and lack of communication to me

Don’t really get this deal. 1 he doesn’t really seem that great anyway 2 if he does turn out great Tottenham can either keep him or slap the price right up. I know he’s young but all we get is crying like babies that we can’t shift our squad players but seem happy enough to take other teams squad players off their hands

Although I think it’s worth pointing out sub appearances can skew these stats very unfavourably it makes Adams look worse also when commentators say he hasn’t scored in 20 games etc when starts wise he hasn’t had half of that.. I’d snap your arm of for batshuayi also and I’m sure he would have been pretty prolific if his 46 games were all starts ?

But when jwp slotted in at rightback vs palace it was arguably our best performance of the season

Still find it hard personally to have any real opinion on Danso other then Ralph can’t rate him that high, but from a personal judgement he just looks like a player with a decent physique and actually quite pacy for a cb.. that looks like he’s being played out of position.. I’d have liked to see how he was in a centre back role

Makes you wonder if Crocker had some influence in this deal.. will have worked with kwp in the younger England set ups maybe sees something in him?

Kwp just looks super passive and plays safe passes back to midfield rather then trying to attack or overlap.. was reading some spurs comments on him and seems he’s not that quick and pretty lightweight too.. willing to give him a chance but the likes of maehle who we could probably get for cheaper looks a better signing for me

Not really sure about this walker peters interest. From what I’ve seen of him he looks a bit passive not really looking to beat players and get down the flank but preferring to just lay the ball back with simple pass.. I think maehle sounds more interesting

Bite their hands off for vj.. tbh I think he’s worse then Hoedt at least Hoedt had a couple of good games.. vestergaard always just looks like a lumbering oaf.. he’s even crap in the air for someone so huge

Awesome performance great energy levels all night Armstrong my motm.. superb goal great use of the ball. But many good performances.. probably redmonds best of the season.. jwp was superb. Love the nasty streak he’s getting was keeping Zaha in his pocket whilst also winding him up and trying to get a reaction from him again

Not usually a fan of redmond but great first half from him.. Armstrong has also been superb.. especially liked that long curved diagonal ball he played which sent redmond away.. good first half

It’s interesting why we never seem to look to the championship for a good centre back. It’s a position where you don’t really need to be so technically amazing so signing a good solid no nonsense cb from the championship could make sense whilst also not being way out of our price range .. a long time ago now but remember how good dean Richards was for us? Also you get teams like sheff Utd,, Burnley when they did.already come up with much more solid defences then ours .

Obsessed with him?? He has started like one game since his early run in the side so I’m not sure why you think this? That said he really didn’t offer much at all when coming on.. beaten in the air the majority of the time and hardly got involved

Also thought redmond was pretty awful .. he always really slows the play down imo.. completely lightweight and very overly cautious for someone who’s meant to be one our creators. Thought ward prowse had another good game. Worked hard and some decent deliveries .. Cedric also one of our better players.

Sure but it’s still the championship. He’s scoring goals yes but how many do you realistically think he could get in the prem?. Che was scoring for fun there, billy sharp smashing it also,, remember how good Ramirez was at boro? I’m pretty sure if boufal and djenepo was playing championship football they would also look the nuts. Boufal is one of the most gifted dribblers in Europe and djenepo looks to have mane 2.0 potential and these two are struggling to get a consistent run of games rightly or wrongly in our side. I just find it hard to believe Bowen would waltz straight into the team

Get your point but that would be pretty disgusting if we were happy with double what we paid. Think even 60m wouldn’t be enough atm we have a proven English striker that’s been as good or better then the likes of Kane aguerro Aubameyang here

Also have to wonder will we be able to keep hold of ings in the summer if he carries on this form?.. seems a long time since we managed to keep a player delivering at this level. I’m still on the fence with che but if those couple of unlucky efforts vs sheff Utd went in his situation could have panned out conpletely different

Not saying any of this is true . But let’s run with it if nketiah isn’t getting game time with Leeds but they want Adams instead it’s not exactly feeling like we are even on Leeds level of ambition with this move we would be given them a player they want and loaning one they don’t lol

Biggest things for me are getting a stable team together without keep changing the defence every week in particular. Stephens and Bednarek are getting the chance to actually form a partnership now. Tactically the change to the 442 but also playing in a counter attacking way is also huge.. I also find our form seems to be hugely boosted since Shane long got brought back in to play alongside ings. He has his knockers but it’s just working at the moment.. his amazing work rate and tenacity opens up more chances for ings to finish Still not really convinced with redmond and I personally think boufal or djenepo playing instead of him consistently would be a upgrade.. aside from that I think keeping this stable team together is the right thing to do at the moment .

Still think we should just relax on che and give it time .. ings is absolutely killing it right now and is seemingly working really well aside long . So no need to cry about this being a bad signing just yet .. our current strike force is working well atm let’s be patient

We are looking superb in the last five games so full credit for Ralph for turning it around,. Actually feeling confident we can achieve top 10 finish now. Although just to play devils advocate if you credit the good results of late fully to Ralph he also has to take the bad for the poor results and form we were in earlier in the season. This is a bunch of players people were saying are terrible and no manager could change that.. This is proving wrong now it just took a long time finding the right tactics and game plan
