I still don't see why that was useful? If you're after 1 or 2 tickets, what does it matter whether there are 500 or 5 seats left in a block? I have to say that the new version is MUCH better and more usable than the old one. I breezed through when ordering for West Brom, despite the silly password reset ...

I agree with you.
-
Koeman hasn't said anything to deserve that. What planet are you on?!?
-
I don't think many of us believe a word they say anymore, which is sad. However, I DO think this team will currently do okay as there is so much dross in the league.
-
Agree with all this. I think we'll see a (quality) centre back come in this week, ideally two. If we also sign another forward as backup, then that's fine. Samaras may not be wonderful, but he'd be good backup if Pelle was injured and until Jay Rod comes back into contention. 2xCB 1xForward player 1xGK (lower priority) Sorted and possible, in my opinion.

Thank you for explaining where the confusion arises, now that makes sense. Although I still stand by my other post (that, so what, it's for skinny blokes unlike most of us so you buy bigger - it doesn't matter). But sleep deprivation f**king sucks.
-
But it's not real though is it? It's just a few words, on a screen - you don't (I presume) even know each other's names ... !!
-
FFS, can't you read either? Look at the quote that was applied to ("most clothes shops the gear is a least one size out")and read the other post I made. Jesus f**king christ.

Hmmm ... "Body fat percentage for your top professional soccer player is typically below 10%"
-
Read what I wrote earlier and don't take it out of context, spanner. In fact, I'll put it here in case you can't be bothered to scroll up; "I'm not being funny, but the shirts are made for ultra lean footballers. These players are superb athletes, generally, with a minute amount of body fat. Most football fans are not lean. So do you want to see loads of men and women looking like a fat f*cking mess in their normal size, or do you want them to buy a size (or 3) bigger to hide the rolls?" Additionally, the online store tells you the chest size you need to fit the chest. But if you look at the design of the shirt as it is DESIGNED FOR ULTRA LEAN FOOTBALLERS, it is a very slim fit tailoring. Ergo, if you want something to hang lose over your belly, you need to go with a bigger size. It's not rocket science, nor is it a rouse to make more money. FFS!

Where will we finish next season? Poll please mods!

8th to 12th; the other teams, i.e. those not 'top 6' really are average and we should be near the top of that pile. + A cup final appearance. -
LOL. If you're buying XXL, it's because you're XXL, not because the shop is "one size out".
-
Agree with this totally. Anyone scoffing at Zaha, Young, Hernandez, Rodwell, Bertrand etc etc etc really does need a head check. Probably the same people that believed the Champions League guff.
-
Agreed. Barely anyone has seen this guy play - he may light up the league (or at least do well) and help raise the level of competition for the younger players to aspire to? However he may be totally guff and ineffective and we ship him out at very little cost. If all we've lost are his wages then that's no big deal, it's not like we're going to lose £xxm as we inevitably will on Osvaldo.
-
Wrong. He's had both accounts since 2012. Just he's now using the 06 one, not the 05 one and he's added LFC before the 06.

Zaha OR Young, it says. Would actually prefer Young - yes he dives but so did Lallana. Young is probably more developed as a player to get straight in the team. Won't happen anyway though, but a nice thought.

Surely that's not a rigid formation and we'd be using other formations to play different teams. I don't see us being as arrogant as we were under Pochettino where we expected other teams to adapt to our one formation (and then have no plan b). I think we'll see variations of 433, 352 and so on. We will see! But regardless, at the moment, I'd rather we did get Hernandez in - proven pedigree and easily good for 15-20 goals provided he gets the service. I like the look of Pelle as a player, but he hasn't been scoring against lower league opposition, so would rather we didn't rely on him as a sole '9'. Turkish and Bateman in serious football discussion shock. I'm off for a lie down.

Players we nearly signed but you're glad we didn't

Didier Drogba, would have been awful. Especially when we were pushing for Wade Elliot. -
BBC Article - The inside story of the great Southampton sell-off
Patrick Bateman replied to Donatello's topic in The Saints
This paragraph did actually give me a football buzz; "Southampton, relative minnows that they are, have an academy system with a worldwide reputation for producing the best players in the Premier League, and the most expensive players in the world." -
Ahhhhh, good days ... (I sound like a proper forum geek)
-
Groan.

I would say £100 that we don't, but it's been so random so far that we probably will. Along with Roberto Carlos, Wade Elliot and Robbie Fowler.

This is it. Ended off with a "they hate pompeeee"
