  1. There is nothing that comes close to running and weight loss. In 2009, I ran 5 times a week, ate a cooked breakfast at work, had a meal at work, had a meal at home and still lost 3 stone in about 4/5 months. I was only running 5-10km each time, but it made a huge difference. I don't have that diet any more as I eat more healthily, but thanks to commuting more (working in London) and not running, that 3 stone is back on.
  2. Giggs surely wins that "award" (if one existed) hands down. Even if just based on playing longevity; add in trophies won and there is no competition.
  3. Surely they could throw up a steel construction behind one of the goals with an extra couple of thousand seats in, pretty quickly? (i.e. from the moment they know about promotion)
  4. Your best post, ever!
  5. Don't think I can agree with that assessment. Maya has been solid and assured, especially after having more of a run of games.
  6. At least I'm not alone in my anger about today; https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/tv-schedule-threatening-magic-of-the-cup-140315938.html
  7. On Saturday I meant - there are no live matches today and then bloody all Premier League ties over the next few days. FFS. I want to watch Blyth Spartans and other such teams
  8. Why can't I find any matches on TV this year??
  9. Aren't there normally a couple of third round FA Cup matches on the BBC on the Saturday? I can't find anything on, pah

    Mane

Really? Just in recent times ... Pelle vs QPR Osvaldo vs Man City Lallana vs Hull Christ, even Tadanari Lee vs Derby was quite nice to watch.
  11. Kenny was something else - I was young and that might taint my vision, but I do think 1980s Liverpool were better than 1990s Man Utd. Controversial? And Kenny did have to carry others, a very fat Jan Molby and a slightly rubbish Craig Johnstone come to mind.
  12. Is he genuinely related to Gary? He must be cringing and face-palming when he watches his sibling on match of the day.
  13. Tony wherever you may be You hate the scum from pompeee And he'll lead us all wherever we may be In ironing out Their wannabees clap clap clap clap clap
  14. la la la la la la la, la la, la la la la la la la la la, la la, la la la la la la la la la, la la la la la la la Tony Underwood Saints defence machine *clap clap, we hate pompeeeeeee*
  15. Does the Mirror have any better or worse reputation than any other paper?
  16. Bunch of morons - although the old guy did actually speak the most sense.
  17. According to the BBC it was a "disgraceful, disturbing scene" and they'd "bring us more as they heard it". Jesus, we live in a wimpy country.
  18. He's absolutely brilliant - he is the one player we should break the bank for. If we can offload Ramirez and Osvaldo (I presume we're still paying a contribution to their wages?), then he is the one player I'd love us to go all out for. I'd love to keep Bertrand too, but for Toby should be number 1 target. New contracts for Yoshida, Cork, Jay etc., plus another forward player or two and we have a squad. Would like another goalie, but hey, I'm not greedy ...
  19. Coincidentally, probably one of the worst atmospheres I've experienced at SMS - could have heard a pin drop for about 85 minutes of that match.
  20. Couldn't care less who comes up, except that's a lie ... Bournemouth would be good to see in the top flight.
  21. Probably saying bye to him ...
  22. The standard of journalism just gets better and better ... "Southamtpon" Proof read, helmets.
  23. It evens up though - we should have had a penalty when Long was booted up in the air against Everton.
  24. I've got 200 already, can I get a St Marys car park pass for Thursday do you think?
