I think it's more that they insist on playing the year below in each team. So the U23 is full of the U18 and the U18 full of the U16 etc. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure that's what I read!?

This, plus I think that with a few more players who like Puel's style in over the summer, we may play better football than some of what we've seen. If we can play like we did in the cup final, it just shows (to me), it's more the players who aren't putting the effort in against certain teams.

Mourinho is just a massive c*ck. Look at Rashford as well and his record of getting rid of Chelsea's youth (which we and other clubs have benefited from). We'll finish 9th or 10th. That, with a cup final will do me this season. Next season, with the players we have, assuming no sales and a new goalie, we should be pushing for that 6th place and another final (I'm greedy). But definitely pushing for something allowing us a European place for the following season.
