  1. Does anyone have any inkling if one away (both this season and last) will get me an Inter ticket? I've still got an old expired Italian id card although the date is on the back: might help blag it if necessary.
  2. You do know what "perceived reputation" means, don't you?
  3. Whitey, are you booking neutral to get a better seat or because you don't think you'll get one through the club?
  4. I've told you before Danbert, management summary please. You don't expect the board to actually sully themselves reading the merda there, do you? :-) Mind you, I think I trust your judgement on its quality...
  5. They're not intelligent enough to organise their own packages and don't realise how many are going independently.
  6. PS: if anybody needs some translation done let me know (and F.O. Turkish!).
  7. I'll have a look into it. I'm going via Turin and staying with a friend so if necessary could get it sent to her address. As I'm a ST holder with only 1 away both this and last season I'm assuming I'll be on the cusp of getting a ticket, but sounds like I'll need to bring binoculars for the away section.
  8. Incompetence?
  9. I couldn't possibly say, I'd upset Turkish, who is obviously a delicate flower.
  10. I don't have to. I rely on Turkish.
  11. Well, we used to have ID cards when I played over there which the ref used to check before the match - he'd call the name and you'd step forward and show your shirt number. We still managed to play ringers on a few occasions! Not that I did, but you are meant to have ID on you at all times. They found it difficult to grasp the concept that we don't have ID cards here.
  12. B*****r,was just typing that..
  13. What did you all expect?
  14. Page 2 of this thread IIRC. Seems to have a good attitude - in the vid I saw he showed great footwork, and once when he slipped he even made the effort, on the ground, to just head it away from the feet of an opponent.
  15. You can get a €4.50 day ticket too, which might be worth it for some.
  16. Well. You brought that down to earth diggers! :-) Personally I'd go for a Soave or Lugana for pre-match drinks, or a Valtellina red with my meal. The Special Brew is for _after_ the match... Some of you might be interested in this: http://www.birrificiomilano.com/en/ Also this: http://www.lenius.it/birra-artigianale-a-milano-top-5/ I've had Baladin and Lambrate before.
  17. Oh, just puss off. This is from the person who every year says we'll finish 17th. I've been using the internet for over 20 years now and my patience with the merchant bankers wore thin years ago.
  18. Why?They've never done that in the past. ;-)
  19. Hurrah, now booked my flight to Turin and a hotel on the night - other saints fans I nknow there too. Perhaps the ticket office ought to know how many of us have alrwady booked independently?!
  20. Lucky you. I'm trying to book a flight to Italy (not Milan) and can't get past - tried many times - stage 3 (passenger details) and can't see why. Just hope the next door neighbour isn't in as I've been swearing at the screen rather noisily...
  21. Have a look at the Europa League thread where you'll see some relevant posts. It's a big city but with a decent urban transport system so we may be spread out!
  22. I'm looking for somewhere a little cheaper - after all, it's dump the bag, go out, go to match, maybe a drink after the game, sleep. I'll be off to Linate in the morning and can't afford to oversleep. Actually, if you calculate it on an hourly basis it's a bloomin' expensive hourly rate for sleeping. ;-)
  23. I booked mine this afternoon, it was in my basket. I suspect takeup will be good and with the odd glitch they've made it easy so don't know why you've been unlucky. It's not a prime seat reserved for EUFA for these games?
  24. No idea about bars etc, although the area around the canal (Naviglio?) is supposed to be good: I've put out feelers to people who know the place better. But Linate to Milano Centrale is only (or used to be) €3 on the local bus, from where good transport links exist. My task next week is to research, and book my flight _out_ there!
  25. I'd agree with that and your criticisms. On points 1 & 3, when we did pass forward quickly and it got cut out you feel the impatience of the crowd. I'm afraid we can't have it both ways. Our full backs aren't bad but Targett just hasn't got the pace physically and his crossing is getting more threatening but it'll be good to get Bertrand back.
