I live further to the East so will be getting the Victoria train, so I hope that runs ok and has seats. I'll break my journey somewhere to have a drink or two, don't know where yet but maybe a Sam Smith's or 'Spoons to avoid the London prices. Wembley allow crutches so that's a positive. Can walk without it, but it's a long day with a fair bit of walking inevitable.

To celebrate getting to Wembley I've just paid my £5 just in case I feel an urgent need to post more than 3 times a day.. Just to confirm that the upper tier was £27 for me, and right at the front (2nd row). This gives a very good view of patterns of play and since I broke my foot on my recent visit means I shouldn't have anybody stood in front of me! Just out of interest, would anybody have the random knowledge as to whether they allow crutches into Wembley? Saw plenty at St. Mary's on Friday but didn't notice any at Wembley.

The other week when a group of us from Portsmouth way went up to watch the women's cup final we went up the A3 to Morden and on a Sunday parked from free there and then got the tube. It worked well for us. There's a myriad of possibilities, but this time I'd like to avoid driving and have a pint or two as a pre-med. Does anybody have any suggestions as where to break a tube journey for a decent pint? Around Wembley itself does not attract!
