This is worrying, when is the first Spurs breakaway goal?
-
You have only got yourself to blame, I thought you had more experience! 😉
-
Couldn't you just kick the cat in annoyance? With my teacher's hat on I'm now wondering about the origin of the phrase given the topicality..
-
I'm ok heading East on the Brighton train, but only just if it's an 8pm k.o. and significant injury time, and not if there is extra time..
-
The local pub does, I think and as there are a few Spurs supporters we should be able to see off any of the alternative games on the box. I was hoping for a dry mid-week but obviously not to be!
-
I wonder what Dorchester Saint thinks? 🙂
-
Must have done, I didn't notice him..
-
Ronaldo, cough, cough.

Day out on the sunny South coast, what's not to like? Might have to change plans on which pub to go to, as it might all be a little busy..
-
Sounds like a Saints type player. A very believable ITK suggestion. 🙂

I printed mine off at home, but at my local sorting office there have been huge delays to some of my post. The size of the crowd may mean delays to posting, but I doubt it as 5k were presumably sent in bulk to Coventry. Could you retrospectively get them printed off at home as picking them up on the day will be a right pain if they don't arrive tomorrow?

Hah! I saw that Charlie Wayman had commented and managed to successfully predict the content of his post before reading it. 🙂

If the crowd quoted above is correct that is really good. The article in The Guardian on the road to Wembley had a crowd of 71 for Forest v Stoke in the previous round (if that is also correct..). I wonder if Hants FA might postpone our Sunday fixtures if Saints get a really plum home tie, although the rest of my team support, if anyone, Pompey.
-
I suspect we let them go lower to guarantee the game time, which is the point of the exercise. He'll still come up against decent, seasoned professionals.
-
Whoops.. that's a Sunday League against 10 players score..

Someone I know was having an informal chat with Brian Hunt, then the director in charge of the St. Marys development. He said that they roughly budgeted for a third crowds of 18k, a third 24K, and a third around 28k for the top clubs. At the time The Dell was limited to around 14K. As we know the figures have been much better than that, which is one of the difficulties of a CBA, but far better than the alternative! A far better product both on and off the pitch has benefits all round, so let us hope that a few constraints on development and investment in infrastructure have been slackened. I see that a new gym is planned for Staplewood.

Yep, rubber moulded are far safer and get used a lot at our level, particularly when we play on 3/4G sometimes. But I do have metal screw-ins for occasional use and I keep a piece of fine sandpaper in my bag just in case any burrs occur. As Whitey says, the nylon ones could end up nasty.

If you did one for the last match I don't think you have to do it again..
-
Trains from the East OK, I'm relieved to say. Costs a bit more mind, due to more beers.. Pre-match pre-med probably needed more today with City's form at the moment..
-
Blimey! A new positive Charlie Wayman n'all! 😉

Can you try via a desktop and then print it out? That's what I've done and it saves a lot of inconvenient stabbing at a phone screen when there's poor reception..
-
2-2 in the end, WBA equalized on 90... sounds familiar?
-
Lots of noisy discussion on possible formations here in the pub..
-
Headscratching here but no doubt in the Brentford camp as well..

Just noticed that the KO is 19.45 not 20.00 so an extra 15 minutes to get back to the station. In the Brighton direction the last train is 10.21 or 10.26 (there appear to be two!) but slightly worried about covid staff issues.. Last 8 o'clock match with loads of extra time I was on the front row by the whistle then a fast jog to the station, but I'd rather be more relaxed about it!
