Since Hoj was dropped from the team, post lockdown we have arguably played some of the most expansive and exciting football since Koeman. Compare that to the last 3-4 seasons when he was a permanent fixture, and the football has often been uninspiring, you can see why many supporters are not that bothered if he goes.Myself included.

Hi Ohio! That wasn't aimed at you btw - just have the bell end on ignore so can't quote. In my opinion, the demise lies at Gao's door. Performances plummeted as soon as he was on the scene (pretty much after the Wembley Cup Final defeat). Leadership comes from the top and Gao has given us nothing - no direction, no funding, no strategy, no communication - time to protest, like we did pre-Marcus! I will be there!

I concur! After Keith Legg stopped writing his summaries back in the day I ended up searching for a well written Saints biased match write up. The L1M10 site surpassed it! Yeah! Was OK. All about 'The Southampton Way' (pretty much dead and buried with Hughes and Pellegrino) and bringing on academy players into the first team.
