I've always said the one thing that will hold Adam back in his career is the fact that he doesn't seem to have a specified position. He totally goes out of games when he plays out wide and a player in the hole is a luxury that is often difficult to accommodate effectively, particularly in the lower leagues.

Difficult for me to comment without having seen them play but it doesn't fill me with excitement. That said, I'm going to give them plenty of opportunity to prove themselves, and lets face it they can't be any worse than Pulis.

Did you watch the League 2 playoff final last season?

Simon King at Gillingham is far better IMO. Very similar to Matt Mills except he has a superb array of passing and loves to dribble forward. Will be picked up by a bigger club imminently.

Totally agree with all of this, most notably the need to ensure LM is not involved at the club in any new regime. I respect what he achieved in 76, however as mentioned he is a divisive figure and his views on football are far too old school for the modern game and he wont be told otherwise.....I have seen this first hand.

Would be a great signing.
